Argh, the stupid convenience store close to my house is out of brown sugar and I'm in too bad a mood right now to go look somewhere else. But I really really want to bake some cookies. Does anyone have chocolate chip cookie recipes that don't need brown sugar?

It'd be really appreciated. *puppy eyes*

You can make your own brown sugar by dripping a little molasses into white sugar and stirring it up.

You can substitute white sugar for brown sugar, and they'll come out fine; HOWEVER, they simply won't have that classic "chocolate chip cookie" taste without some brown sugar or molasses. Sorry.

Ah, I figured that, so I decided to bake them some other day and try a different kind of cookies today. Oh well, at least I had fun.
