Oooh, this recipe for raspberry and chocolate cupcakes was posted today at Never Bashful With Butter and ooooh, but they sound so damn delicious. I've never done a cupcake with filling, though, so they'll certainly be a challenge. Problem is, buttermilk is extremely difficult to come by in here, so, does anyone know if they'll come out the same without it? I hope so, anyway... Or I could add milk? But less so? *scratches head*

Went out with my mom and my brother in a wild goose chase to find shoes for my brother. My head ached too much from last night's controversy and too much time reading New Moon and I just had to get some air. So now my feet ache from walking so much, but I got a brand new pair of skinny jeans (yay! They're all cute, too) and we really had lots of fun.

About New Moon, oh man, can I marry Jacob, pretty please? I actually like him better than Edward. *hides from the knives of angry fans* I'm still not that far in the book, though, I'm on page 160 or so.

Also, I'm kinda concerned about how incredibly un-creative I've been this holiday. I haven't drawn anything but the little things I did for [livejournal.com profile] moonix the other day and I haven't written anything after my latest SPN fic. *sigh* Hell, I've baked more than anything else. o_O

And I'm really, really in the mood for a concert, but nothing interesting is on these days, boo.

Buttermilk is slightly soured milk, so the standard substitute is milk with a bit of lemon juice added. Let me check my cookbook...and, yes, for one cup of buttermilk, substitute 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar and enough milk to equal 1 cup. Let stand 5 minutes before using in your recipe.

Ooooh, thank you! I'll tell you how it comes out later. :)

OHMY, everything looks so delicious on that blog! YUM. We don't have buttermilk either. :(

Yay, shopping. Mom and I are going out on Saturday because we are POOR. I mean, I can't keep wearing the same combination of sweater and shirt forever. MUST GET CLOTHES. Haha.

A lot of people like Jacob instead, so don't feel bad. He's not as whiny as Edward is. OH NO, Edward is Angel from Buffy!! Oh, Buffy, oh Buffy. BLERGH.

I was saving all the fics in my memories to Word, in case they disappear forever in the near future, and I found one you wrote! That was really cool. :p

OH MAN, I KNOW. I kinda SALIVATE everytime I go around that blog. The closest thing we have to buttermilk is 'jocoque', and since that is usually achieved by letting the milk out for a couple of days until it goes STALE, yeah, I don't want to use it, ew. (my grandma loves that shit, I've NO IDEA why o_O)

SHOPPING. It's such a cliche but it really makes everything seem better XD Take pictures once you get new clothes, I'm sort of a voyeour in that matter, lol.

I do like Edward, but Jacob is so... likeable, all pretty and young and squishable and childish about his height (awwww). I can already tell he's going to get his little cute heart broken, though. ;___;

Haha, really? That's awesome XD Which one was it?

I'm on 2006! I can't stop going back and looking at those fantastic pictures!

I will if I get anything at all. I don't really like shopping (I know, very ungirly of me), I prefer buying food or coffee mugs than clothes. :p That's why I'm so poor. I have three new mugs and no new clothes. Ha.

Hahaha. These books are so damn predictable. I'll try to read Eclipse this weekend, so we can comment.

It was Snap it in Half (R/S). I haven't re-read it, but if it was in my memories, then I must've liked it. :p

Haha, I cruised it all in one sitting when I first discovered it XD I've tried several recipes, and they all came out reaaaaally well, yum. :)

Haha, I spend all my money in books and comics and then make my mom buy me clothes because I'm evil like that, haha. I'm actually in a spending-spree, no idea why, and I've been aching for a trip to the bookstore for days now *g*

Yayz, more mocking ahead! That's always a good thing.

Oooh, one of my personal favorites! Interesting.

I can't wait to try the Creme Brulee one. Just need to check if the degrees are in F or in C. Looks delicious.

Books are SO expensive here. Sucks. So I buy DVDs or food, food is good. Or notepads. Coloring pencils. YUM. :p

Something to look forward to! Hahaha.

:p

Ooh, I think you commented on the actual blog, but I can't respond directly to comments on there, so.. here you go! The degrees are in Fahrenheit.

I feel like an outcast because I think Bella should be with Jacob instead of Edward, so I totally know how you feel. I'm starting to think I just have a thing for male fictional characters with a last name of Black.

Haha, that might be it, you just can't go wrong with that surname XD

But oooh, yes. I'd ship them harder if I liked Bella, but Jacob WOULD be a bazillion times best for her than Edward. But the Twilight fandom is insane, in all honesty, and frankly, people over there are kinda scary. o_O

Okay, website basically rules and now I want to bake a gazillion cupcakes. But the problem is, if I bake, who will eat them????? I don't want to have to eat them all. See, this would work so much better if I was working and I could give them all to my coworkers. And it would also work if my mom hadn't returned her Kitchen-Aid.

Now I'm hungry :(

Haha, my family is becoming more and more wary of my experiments as of lately, that's why I'm moving on to my extended family and friends as unwilling recipients, lol.

But yesss, bake! It's oh so fun, I've been having a blast baking all summer long XD And I've made a couple of the recipes on that site and they've all come out soooo good.

Psst! Hey, do you know how to respond to comments on the blogs?? I wanted to write back to your comment on the strawberry post and I couldn't find anything except posting another comment right under it and then how would you even know about it?

Humph. Blogger is kind of lame that way, isn't it.

Urgh, no, I hardly ever use my own blog, so I really haven't felt the need to experiment on it. *scratches head*

Argh, yes, it makes interactions so difficult, and that's what I like LJ better (except, you know, when its administrations are being assholes)
