Seriously, it's getting so awful, and I'm one minute away to stop reading but I can't because it's sort of like a trainwreck, I have to know how more awful it can get.
It's just -- the premise sounded okay, but this is saying HEY KIDS, ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS ARE A-OKAY, YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY WHEN YOUR BOYFRIEND SLAPS YOU AND FORBIDS YOU TALK TO ANYONE BUT HIM. IT'S ALL COOL, REALLY! And then she's still going after Asuza even the motherfucker tried to get her gang-raped AND ARRRRRRGH. IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY. *stab*

I mean, really; you are kidding. Sure, there are abusive relationships, but who the fuck portrays them as *cool*?
(Admittedly, my fiction is also full of broken and/or abusive relationships; but they aren't seen as cool, but as tragic.)
And if you're not kidding, what does that tell me. That I could do everything to a prospective partner if I was hot? But since I'm not, I've got no chance in hell? Fascinating moral.
Are we sure humanity deserves to live on?
