Man, these incredibly long days leave me so tired by the end of the week. ;__; I went to see my grandma today and I almost fell asleep on her couch. But then I went to get some tacos and had a shower and I'm feeling BRAND NEW, baby. *g*

Anyway, I was planning on stealing following mellafe's idea and post a little about Mexico now that Independence Day is about to be celebrated but I, eh, kinda forgot about it and was too busy anyway, so. My brother's birthay is tomorrow so he decided we should all go to Guanajuato to celebrate the Grito in there, which should be fun 'cause it's one of the most 'traditional' cities in the country, so I'm sure the celebration will be GRAND. Or at least I hope so, because it's four hours by car and it's GOTTA be worth it, dammit. So anyway, I'll just try and take pictures to show you guys how we celebrate our Independence over here. (yep, there are lots of tequila, but the good kind, not the crap they sell to foreigners that can't know the difference, lol) :) There's this really trashy (naco, that's what it is) tradition in the town where my family comes from: puerco encebado. It pretty much means that they get a pig, they cover it in grease or butter or ANYTHING that's somewhat slippery and then they let it loose in the main plaza. The one that catches it (and manages to keep a hold of it) gets to take it home for dinner, lol lol, it's so stupid XD Me and my cousins always have a blast mocking the parties in Tonila, so people in the town kinda dislike us because we're the 'city folk' XD)
