Oh God, don't let it be true. I loved Rose, I truly, truly did, but she had her time in Who and now it's OVER and I do think that'd just set things back so very much.

It's just... such a stupid move. Ugh. RTD has inflamed her character so much during S3 that she'd just be OMG SUPER KEEEWL this time around, and that's not the Rose I fell for when I started watching the series.

RTD. BRING SIMM BACK. I BET EVEN YOU HAVE MUCH MORE FUN WRITING SLASHY SUBTEXT THAT ISN'T REALLY SUBTEXT. PLZ. DON'T DO THIS TO ME. (And to Martha.)

I just saw that online. This is weird...I'll be glad to see an episode with her but I don't see why she would go back full time when she obviously doesn't have any problems finding other projets (Diary of a call girl...)

Well as the Ten/Rose shipper I am, I should be excited from this spoiler, but I'm not sure.

I always wanted Rose back, but truly I was hoping for Tennant's last episode only. Kinda because those two were the ones that got me hooked on the show.

As for the rumoured reunion, I'm not sure because they say it's for the whole three specials, if that is true I hope it's because there's some myth arch around it, in parallel world maybe.Because certainly I don't want any stand alone eps with Rose back travelling like the old days, because it would be boring and unrespectful for Martha.

But I don't know maybe they plan some major storyline in parallel world and The Doc hast to go there, and we have the chance to see alt!Torchwood (in my fic Rose is the owner by the way).

But really I'm not sure how they will handle this, and I hope they don't forget about Martha, if Rose comes back for the specials I want Martha too. That would be cool and then they'll finally meet.

Oh but imagine, Rose, Martha, Doctor, and Master in the specials, ohhhh that would be awsome. Won't be true but God The Master would have much fun around the Doc's companions.

I was such a Ten/Rose shipper, back in the day, and yet I just can't get excited about this.

I do want to see Rose, but I want to see her happy, I want to see her kicking ass at Torchwood and being awesome, and I have the feeling RTD would write her pining her life away and doing nothing but hoping the Doctor would come back. That would just be depressing and being awful to her character.

I want Martha to realize Rose was never really a threat, I want Rose to realize the Doctor isn't the God-given blessing she sometimes makes him out to be. I want the Doctor to realize he should move on and to realize how much like crap he's been treating Martha. Now that would be cool. I don't have that much faith in the writers, though...

(and I want Rose and Martha to get drunk and bitch about the Doctor. Who will fantasize a lot about both of them, oh yes.)

I want Rose to realize the Doctor isn't the God-given blessing she sometimes makes him out to be.

THAT I would like to see: the Doctor having to face a Rose who's matured enough and become independent enough to turn around and evaluate him. Because while fandom goes on about how he's treated Martha, his treatment of Rose wasn't exactly sterling, either. And it would probably have the bonus side-effect of making him realize with a jolt that he's been an ass to Martha, too.

(and I want Rose and Martha to get drunk and bitch about the Doctor. Who will fantasize a lot about both of them, oh yes.)

I endorse this script proposal.

I'm gonna put that down as a rumour for now. I just really can't see that happening, and definitely not within this season. Or next for that matter. It's not like Billie Piper is starved for work, either.

Well, all I know is -and IDK if it's the same thing you read- that she really missed the show and would love to go back to say goodbye to Tennant when he leaves the show. I think it's crap and cheap. Yeah, it would be fans (in general) happy because Rose was great and everybody loved her, but it would be cheap as hell. It would take away all the greatness that was Doomsday and it would let Martha even further behind in the whole scheme, which is what really bothers me.

She was cool, she was funny, she had fun, she's gone, get over it. Jeez.

BRING BACK SIMM PLEASE. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE POTENTIAL IN MORE MASTER THAN ANY OTHER CHARACTER EVER.

Ugh, no no no that would be awful. Especially if it is Tennant's last episode - it would reinforce too much the whole 'Rose is more special that anyone before and/or after!!1!' both the hardcore fangirls and Rusty seem to thrive on. And it would deminish Martha and Donna and, God, pretty much everyone else so much.

EXACTLY. One day I'll have to get over Martha's departure as well. Will I kick and scream and bitch about whoever comes next? NO. Because that's just stupid.

IF ANYTHING, THE DOCTOR LOVES THE MASTER BEST. IT'S LIKE, CANON. There's so much... potential, with him. CAN I HAS SIMM!MASTER NAO PLZ?

WORD. I have the feeling anything regarding Rose would be trite and horrible because RTD is terribly biased about her, but with Simm? NOTHING COULD GO WRONG WITH SIMM. NOTHING.
