It's was incredibly cold today. Considering that just yesterday we were all sweating under the scorching sun, as we have been doing for the entire month, it was CONFUSING. Not that I'm complaining, because I'm all for the cold weather, but it WAS quite surprising. STILL. I GOT TO WEAR MY GRYFFINDOR SCARF. And oh, but it looked so pretty flapping in the wind. ♥

I don't think It'll stay like this for long, though, because apparently there's a hurricane nearby (NO, NOT HURRICANE DUMBLEDORE). Oh well. The thing about extreme cold in here is that we're not prepared for it - there's a wiff of cold air and people get out the big jackets and scarves and mittens. Northeners would mock us. Just like we mock all those foreigners that come here and wear lame shorts with WOOL SOCKS and flip flops in the middle of winter, lol.

Anyway, I went to school today when it was still dark and I came home when it was dark already. I need a vacation. *dies*

About two months ago, we got news from relatives that it was snowing in Bolivia. Snowing! Of course, no one over there was ready for snow so a lot of people were inconvenienced and were sick. But I was like, snowing in Bolivia? Jesus, global warming is no joke.

Exactly - the wheather's just so darn weird nowadays. Haha, the last time it snowed in here, about seven years ago (WHICH I MISSED, DAMNIT), all of the trees of the city got ice burnt and looked brown-ish for MONTHS, lol. It hadn't snowed in 50 years, I think.

I want cold weather too, damn it!

On a completely unrelated note, since you get Mexican news coverage, how is Tijuana? San Diego's such a mess, and all our news stops at the border.

Apparently, it's just crossed very lightly, and it mostly has kept beyond out borders. But I'm not all that sure - I honestly didn't even know about the fires until I came home an hour ago, so that tells you something about how lightly it's been in here. I probably should worry a hell of a lot more, because I have loads of family in San Diego. o_O (and Tijuana too, for that matter)
