Lovely, light on the surface but with an edge (much like the canon, in fact). I loved the comparison to Smith and Jones, because it really highlighted how Martha has grown and developed into an impressive force in her own right. Quite poignant, too - Martha is sorted and self-assured in a way that the Doctor, for all his cockiness, can never be.

(and yay for evil ex-boyfriend. And that itch to write Ten/Master? Scratch it!!!

Yes, that's just exactly what I was going for. :) The Doctor tries to hide it, but in reality he's just so, so incredibly messed up.
