My brother got himself the new iTouch. Watch me be green with envy. *grabby hands* I've always thought the iPhone hype was mere stupidy (although admitedly, I hate phones, so that has something to do with it), but this baby is truly delightful. I AM BEING SEDUCED BY IT, I SWEAR. I love my blue nano, but I've wanted a video iPod for a long time now and I feel as if the little thing is CALLING ME. Such prettiness.

It's weird, though, because the new iPod generation hasn't started selling in here yet (he asked a friend of my dad's in the states to buy it for him and ship it here), so I've never seen one before in here. When did the little bitch become such a tech whore, anyway? (and where the hell did he get the money? o_O)

Heroes 2x03 - Kindred:

Right, so Mexico has random paintings of the Guadalupe virgin pretty much everywhere, huh? Of course. Silly of me not to have noticed. (this is somewhat hypocritcal of me today of all days, though, because it's the day of the Romeria, a huge celebration for the Zapopan virgin. So. Um.) Anyway, at least the police was shown as somewhat effective...

MOLLY AND HER TWO DADS CONTINUE TO BE THE SWEETEST THING EVER, OMG.

AND OMG POOR ANDO, PINING HIS LIFE AWAY FROM HIRO, LOL.

Claire and West flying = BAD CGI. I appreciate the sentiment, though.

Er, "Mexican" police dude? WORST MEXICAN ACCENT EVER.

OKAY, NOW I WANT TO SEE SOME SYLAR/CANDICE!SYLAR, OH YES. (er, three second laters: HAHAHA, TOTALLY SAW THAT COMING. The Sylar/Sylar would've been hot, though.)

Okay, so Peter gets tortued by some dudes, they force him to steal money, and yet, five minutes later he's getting a tatoo and is 'one of them'? WTF? o_O Oh wow, that was a fantastic ending! So can't wait for next ep. :)

Pushing Daisies 1x02 - Dummy : OH GOD HOW CAN THIS GET ANY CUTER?

Seriously, it was so so so good. I like this rather somber new feel, which is so contradictory to the cutesy-warm visual style that is just so interesting. Also, I so want Chuck's clothes. They're ace. Also, HEEE, EMERSON, KNITTER EXTRAORDINAIRE. KNITTED HOLSTERS. MY GOD. Ned and Check have this incredibly sparkly chemistry that I'm sure it's going to break me in the end because oh my, but the UST, it burns! *is so loving it*

And the plot was interesting too, in a really wacky and quirky way. I'm starting to like Olivia a lot, too. She was barely there last ep, but she was pretty cool this time around. I totally thought dandelion was pronounced differently, though. o_O we call them 'lion teeth' in here, lol. Seriously, I'm just so in love with this series - it makes me smile like few things can. &hearts,

Aaaaand I think SPN just finished downloading, so I'll post about it in a while.

I am SO envious of your brother. I bought a new iPod and a week after I bought it they came out with their new generation of iPods, I seriously wanted to hit someone.

I looooove Pushing Daisies, it's so good!! And highly addictive, I missed the first half hour of this week's show though :( The knitting part made me giggle, and I have such a huge crush on Ned. Oh Chuck is so pretty and I agree I love her clothes.

I am so envious too, believe me. XD Oh man, that sort of stuf stings. o_O

I so can tell this will end up being one of my favorite shows this season. It's just so well written and shot and the characters are just too cute to be true. ♥

I'm in love with Pushing Daisies! I don't know how they make bulimia and murder seem so cutesy, but the brightness, narration, sets/costumes, sure do help! And I actually enjoyed Olive's musical number, it was actually rather fitting.

Oh man, I'm itching to get a new iPod. I've got a mini (which are completely obsolete now) so I'm trying to decide what to get!

I know! If you take away the cute and the pretty and the visual style - it'd end up pretty bleak. I mean, this is a guy that raises people from the death for a living, and that pretty much killed his best friend's dad and his mom indirectly and that can't get close to anyone. o_O

Haha, I totally keep on saying Olivia instead of Olive, I've no idea why XD

There's just so many of them by now! And they get old so far - I got my nano a year ago, and now it's been replaced already. I really want a 30Gb video one, but I'm not sure. The shiny of the iTouch is seducing me real hard. (but it's rather too expensive for such little storage room, so.)

Dude! You're totally my legit Mexican source. I've never been there but now I know. You guys DON'T have religious paintings covering every surface?? ...Makes sense. (Oh wait, I'm lying: we did cross over from Brownsville where my family's from for a day. But the border towns aren't an accurate representation, right?)

And Peter's storyline is ridiculous. So ready for that to be over. When he is coming baaaccckkkk??

But Oooohh - don't get an iTouch yet! There's practically nothing on them (16 gigs for $400!?) and in a few months, I guarantee the next ones will come out with MUCH more space at the same price. That's what they've done to my video iPod; the one I paid $400 for is now $250! ARGH. I have so much hate for Apple. They're sneaky bastards.

Oh no no, border towns are HIDEOUS. Especially Reinosa. Ugh. They're dirty and crowded and down right horrible. The bad thing is, most people from the States ocasionally go there and get the idea the rest of the country is like that. ;____;

Oh God yes. I never thought Peter could bore me this bad. o_O (and their 'Ireland' is just a giant stereotype too, isn't it? And the dude isn't even trying to fake an accent! It's driving me crazy.)

Yeah, that's what I kept on telling my brother, but now I've been blinded by the shiny too. ;___; I've wanted to get a 30Gb iPod for months, though, I just never get the resolve, lol. Now, though, I do think I'll wait for a cheaper iTouch. My nano's still really pretty, anyway.

OMG OMG OMG. YOU ARE WATCHING PUSHING DAISIES TOO? I DIDN'T THINK THERE WAS ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE. :D Is it not the cutest, wittiest thing prime time TV has going?

I SO AM. I watched the pilot like, two months ago, and ever since I've been biting my nails waiting for the actual series to begin, lol.

IT'S JUST SO. DAMN. CUTE. I can already tell Ned/Chuck is totally going to be my new OTP, haha. XD

You know, I totally didn't even notice the paintings everywhere XD

I must say though... I find Peter/Caitlin to be fragging adorable. (But then, ^_^ My name is Kaitlin, so maybe I'm totally biased)

Haha, I'd so be totally biased either, in all honesty XD Nah, I like her, if only because she's the only one that, you know, sounds Irish. o_O

Headdesk indeed.

Syyyylar. I'm so glad he's back. He's just so deliciously evil.

hee, I don't know if you'd have to prepare them first...I just know they're edible. Somehow.

I think the French cook them.
