Heh, yes, yes he did. Or if you want to go with the tv show Blood Ties's version, he became an immortal vampire. ;)

Don't worry too much about historical accuracy for the Tudors-- it's not their strong point. They also merged Henry's two sisters into one, who marries Henry Cavill's character. Just enjoy the pretty men and costumes and the semi-accurate tone. :D

Yeah, I figured that, and it's not like I know that much about the Tudor dinasty, but that was too much of a wtf to let pass, hee. But like you said - pretty men in costumes! Jonathan Rhys Meyers! Lots of sex! Random slash! What's not to like!
