Man, I just can't stop shaking. I've already took a pill so the fever's going down, but slowly, and I'm cooooold. Uuuugh. I actually ditched my first and last classes, since they were too early and too late (8-11 and 5-7) and my mom even had to drive me to school because I was too out of it thanks to the medicine to actually drive. Ugh.

In other news, Smallville starts in half an hour but I'm not sure whether I should go on watching it. I missed the first episode of the season, for one thinG. And considering how much of a disastrous trainwreck was last season (I literally wanted to hurt EVERYONE on the show), well. I'm not sure.

Aaaand, that's about it, yes. MY LIFE, IT IS SO EXCITING.

About the post title, I once DID get high on cold medication. I sort of... mixed stuff I shouldn't have mixed. And then I spent about five hours giggling for no reason and pointing at stuff and twirling around. WHILE IN AN EXAM.

Sorry you're sick. Seems to be the season; everybody's got a fever or a sore throat or a head that feels like it's going to explode from all the snot stuck in it… which, come to think of it, should be true for half the English lit departments across the country…

Anyway, I hope you're disease-free soon. Enjoy all the justified lemon-honey tea until then. :)

Would it be in poor taste if I asked which one?

Yeah, half the school is sick too, that's probably how I got it in the first place. *sigh* Mmm, now I want my mom to make bugambilia tea! (which tastes especially good if it's stolen bugambilia, lol.)

I honestly don't remember. I KNOW it was in my senior year of high school but everything else is somewhat of a blur. o_O It must've been something theoretical, though, because I would've had lots of fun playing with my calculator. Um.

-hugs-

ah Smallville. that thing. What season are you on? I'm forever grateful to Lost to sparing me from Season 4. My mom borrowed it on DVD later because she is like Lois + Clark forever! but I didn't have to endure much.

but whee random dialogue crack and the precious precious Clark/Lex.

and because I like it when they bring stuff from the comics in.

and hey, one ep of Season 4 inspired my delayed NaNoWriMo novel (I wrote it July two summers ago because November is way too busy)

I'm about to start season 7. And oh man, you're so lucky, because season 4 is somewhat okay, but seasons 5 and 6? (especially 6) SO, SO LAME. AND THE CLANA. IT HURTS. AS DOES THE LEXANA. EW.

Lol, yeah, Clark/Lex is the only good thing of the show. Well. Second, Chloe is the first one. *g*

Have you seen Justice? That ep was so so cool. Supes and Green Arrow and the Flash and Aquaman ALL TOGETHER. IT WAS BLISS. (And best of all? NO LANA, THANK GOODNESS.)

So what was your novel about?

I went through 5 + 6 feeling blah blah yay! blah blah

oohhhhhh my gosh the Lexana die

Chloe is the first one. *g
whee Chloe awesome

JUSTICE WAS TOTALLY YAY.

Well, it had to do with some memory stuff. I made it a prequel to this ohmygosh epic TV show idea I've been incubating since I was 13. There was a Smallville ep about wiping memory and it just triggered an image in my head. The novel starts out with the mother of a corporate exec asking a private detective to see what the son is really doing with the company. It also involves the exec's life as well as some street kids who work some illegal ops for the company. The plot isn't great (and I don't know how to write court scenes) but I really like how some characters and scenes turned out. It's set in Oceanview, "The City of the Future," which is split between the nice city and "Shadow City," where the less fortunate live. Some people have supernatural powers. There is gang violence. And much angst. yeah. It ended up only being 47,500 words, but I could not add anything more, so I just say that whee I finished the first draft of a novel I don't think I'll ever publish. At least it sets up that TV idea thing.
