Thank you SO, SO MUCH to everyone that wished me happy birthday yesterday, YOU'RE ALL AMAZING AND WONDERFUL AND I LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH. *blows kisses* ♥♥♥♥

Anyway, so I had a pretty uneventful day - I went to a tianguis to have tacos for breakfast and convinced my mom to cook tongue for me, yummy (SHUT UP, IT'S DELICIOUS) and I fiddled around with my new and preeeeeeety iTouch and went out for a fancy dinner at this wonderful fusion cuisine with Mexican roots restaurant. It's sort of embarassing, though, I had just a glass of red wine and I was already somewhat tipsy. *headdesk* I'm such a lightweight.

This family friend is staying at an aunt's house and he insisted on cooking a thanksgiving dinner (he's actually from Panama but lives in Miami), two big fat turkeys and everything, so we went there after dinner under the pretense that there'd be pie. AND THERE WAS NONE. IT WAS SO SAD. But oh well, people hugged me and congratulated me and my cousins oh'd and ah'd at the iPod and overall, I had a pretty good time. :)

Seeing that my blue nano is called 'Sammy', I really should've called the iTouch 'Dean' but... I NAMED IT 'DOCTOR'. Me, obsessed? Never! XD

Ahaha, I think the suggestion of pie lures most people to Thanksgiving dinners. How's the whole navigation thing on the iTouch? Like, do you have to press very hard? Is it easy to get used to? I'm contemplating whether or not I want to get one, my iPod mini is on its last legs, unfortunately. Happy Birthday again, glad to hear you had a great one!

Well, in all honesty, the regular iPod format is much, much easier to use, but once you get used to the touch screen it's not all that hard. Sometimes you do have to press really hard, or repetitively, especially when changing songs and with the home button AND it's really uncomfortable to use in the car unless you have one of those shiny er, platforms, or whatever they're called to have it at arm's length. (i.e. you can't change songs or adjust the volume if you're not actually seeing the screen)

And it rather sounds like I don't even like it, don't I? No, it's actually pretty nifty, and pretty as hell, and the video quality is really superb. Besides, having the wi-fi and default youtube and all that is just really exciting. So yes, I do recomend it, unless you have to do lots of driving every day like me (in which case you could just use your mini for that and the iTouch for everything else).

NO PIE?

hey, Thanksgivings at my house have no pie, but there's no turkey either. chicken/salmon/ham, with a cake or something.

I KNOW.

It's like in Christmas, when I would be very pleased to forego turkey all together. I don't really like the stuff. o_O Good for you for being original, in any case, haha.

Glad it was a good birthday, though quiet and criminally free of pie. Enjoy all the shiny new gadgetry!

I NAMED IT 'DOCTOR'. Me, obsessed? Never! XD

Well, my hard disk is named "TARDIS," so I can identify. *facepalm*

Lol, that's even cooler! DO YOU STROKE BITS OF THE TARDIS?

(Sorry, couldn't resist. Um.)
