nekare at 09:34pm on 13/12/2007Remember that Christmas tree in my school that I mentioned? Well, it's so full of 'letters to Santa' now that you can hardly see the actual tree anymore, lol. I mention this because we all need a bit of happiness in the world, especially in regards of what I'm about to say.
In an incredibly grave note, The murder of Aqsa Parvez by her own father disgusts me. It's just unbelievable, that such a thing can happen in this era. It's not even all about the Islam connections to the story (which are definitely there though), it's more about the complete lack of humanity on the side of that man. Muslim or not, there's just no excuse for such a crime, just like it would still be horryfing if it were a Catholic or Christian or dunno what girl. That's why I'm dreadfuly afraid of religious fanatics, whichever religion that might be.
Aqsa Parvez died for wanting to be free. It is enough to make one loose faith in humanity.
