I know everyone else is squeeing over SPN but oh my God, Pushing Daisies finale!
Pushing Daisies 1X09 - Corpsicle: OMG SO AWESOME. I WANT MORE MORE MORE, BUT SO AWESOME ANYWAY.
I very much liked the mood of this episode. It was still playful, but it had a much darker palette, color-wise, and the tone reflected that - I cried a bit at the opening scenes with wee!Chuch and Ned, and I gasped at Emerson talking about his daughter.
The fact that everyone was so concerned about Digby's bum made me lol, eeeh.
I liked this week's murdered MO, for all that the actual murders were left a bit in the dark in light of the character's internal angst, which is fine by me, actually. Oscar was suitably creepy, and it was a good idea to bring him back. Chuck's turmoil was well handled, especially her frantic wiping of her father's grave at the end - it was earnest, so desperate, and Ned just putting his coat around her shoulders was poignant and touching and so damn heart breakening.
AND THEN THE FINAL REVELATION. WHICH IS MADE OF LASDJFLASDFJLJSDF. AND WIN. AND OH MY GOD. HONESLY, THIS STRIKE HAS TO END BECAUSE NINE EPISODES ARE JUST NOT ENOUGH. NOT NEARLY. MY LOVE FOR THIS SHOW, IT IS TOO BIG TO PUT IN WORDS. ♥

pretty much WORD to everything you said. i don't think i even did a flail post for this week's ep because how many weeks in a row can i just post 'OMFG I LOVE PUSHING DAISIES EEEEE'? :P but yes. YES. my heart was aching at the way Ned dropped his coat on her shoulders at her dad's grave because omg you could just feel how badly he wanted to scoop her up and kiss her hair and tell her it would be okay. omg ;_;
CLIFFHANGERRRRRR. i cannot handle cliffhangers that go on and on forever because omg who knows when this show is coming back!!1! ugh, i love this show so much. ♥

lol, I know, it makes me so squeeful that I'm never coherent about it XD Eeek, I'd so wish they'd touch more. USE GLOVES, PEOPLE. NOT HARD.
I have a love/hate relationship with cliffhangers. They drive me mad but they keep me watching, sooooo. (like, in spn? I was omgsoexcited for S2 because of the cliffhanger - which was awesome, IMO - and then the S2 finale was so closed and happy that I was all 'er, okay, whatever' about S3. WHICH IS WRONG, DAMNIT.)

omg yes. i was wondering why they don't just buy fucking stock in rubber glove companies and TOUCH ALL THE TIME.
i am just so impatient that i cannot stand the waaaaait. see, i was spoiled with the spn S1 cliffhanger in that i didn't have to wait all summer to see the conclusion; i started watching the show in S2. XD but i totally see what you mean. the S2 finale was like the complete, tidy close of one chapter without a singular MAJOR unresolved issue. there were, of course, big picture type things for the boys to work out but the YED arc and all that? just done. so yeah. JUS GIMME MOAR PUSHIN DAISEEZ.
