¡FELIZ NOCHEBUENA! HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE!
Have a wonderful time, kids. ♥♥♥

It's weird, how my family's gotten much more used to celebrate Christmas Eve rather than Christmas day. It's mostly because all of my cousins have to go to with their other families at night, so we settled on the 24th at midday to avoid anyone any bother. That leaves us with a rather boring 25th, though, because my dad's family aren't really close and they're antisocial's anyway (and this is coming from a mild antisocial, can you imagine them?) so it's all booooring.

BUT ANYWAY. I hadn't seen my cousins in a while so it was surprisingly fun - we laughed a lot about stupid things and bitched about the horrible food (which is ALWAYS the same. No one really likes turkey and/or pork leg and yet they keep on serving it with these weird croissants. I don't know. I just had a sausage sandwich and it was loads better than the entire meal, lol). Then we broke piñatas because we always merge our Christmas celebration with the traditional posada out of, dunno, laziness, or something but we didn't sing posada because someone forgot the candles, WOE. I love doing that, even if I've had some pretty nasty incidents with the candles (like, you know, HAVING MY HAIR ON FIRE. THANKS TO THE ASSHOLE OF MY BROTHER.)

Then I got a bit tipsy with champagne during the toast, lol. And now my head aches. But it was Moët! I couldn't say no to that, surely. I got a pretty bracelet and a not-so-pretty pen and The Fountain on dvd, HELLS YEAH. So I'm happy. :3

Did you know that one of the guys who wrote Silent Night (I just can't remember if he wrote the music or the lyrics) was an illegitimate child and therefore the only one who wanted to be his godfather was the town's executioner? :D

/sharing random morbid facts about Christmas carols

I know! It's so morbid. But look, he made half of the world's most popular Christmas carol, that should count for something. :)

lol, yeah, but did he at least get to be all high up about it to the bastards that wouldn't look at him? Because if you next tell me he died poor and alone I'll have to either laugh or cry XD

I like croissants. But plotting croissants are just wrong.
