awww, Anastacia!

I wrote 1000 words of original fic yesterday!! OMG FINALLY. I hadn't written anything in like... a month and a half? fucking pathetic, man. I'd missed it so much. ♥

I went out with some friends yesterday, to the artsy 'cultural' street in town, and it was pretty great because we got to see several street bands (one of them, a blues/50s rock and roll band, absolutely brilliant) and this weird festival for old people, which was hilarious because there were white-haired people everywhere waltzing on the streets, lol. So yeah, it was fun, and I hadn't seen them since school finished.

Aw, Anastacia's on tv! One of my biggest guilty pleasures and one of my favorite animated movies from the 90s. Maybe because it's masterfully animated and yeah, Anya's a princess but Dmitri's a far cry away from being Prince Charming. And I've always had a bit of a crush on him. *cough*. SHUT UP.

It's weird, though, because half of me is always going 'OMG NO NO YOU GOT IT WRONG!' because the complete disregard for history is somewhat cringe-whorty, and the other half of me doesn't give a damn because there's too much shiny, lol. (then again, it was this movie that first got me interested in Russian history, so. Um.) ANYWAY. I NEED SOME ANYA/DMITRI FIC NOW.

OMG, ANYA/DIMITRI OTP!!! No eras la única que tenía un crush con el chico, con lo adorable que era. Ya hace tiempo que dejé de plantearme si la película es fiel a la historia o no, porque la verdad es que me lo paso genial viéndola.

Creo que una chica de mi flist escribió un fic Anya/Dimitri, si lo encuentro te lo paso.

Mmm, como se viste en capas, nyah. lol, la última vez que la vi todavía no me importaba mucho, pero ahora me la pasé diciendo cosas como 'aaah, la emperatriz Maria Fedorovna nunca vivió en París!' o 'nadie piensa mencionar que tampoco se encontró el cadaver de Alexei?' o 'Y DONDE FREGADOS ESTÁN LOS BOLCHEVIQUES' y 'aaaargh, Rasputin era genial!!' XD Pero aún así me encanta todita todita. ♥

lol, true - there are still birds and cutesy squirrels (I'd totally forgotten about them, though), but it's so dark compared to Disney films. That's probably why I like it so much, haha.
