I'm 40 pages shy of finishing the first Gossip Girl book, and while I find the series to be better (which... isn't saying that much), I do have a thing to say: SERENA/BLAIR FTW. SO MUCH.

More about it and the mini series marathon I've been having tomorrow.

SERENA/BLAIR FTW.
I have no desire to read the books, having heard about the differences, but the TV mini-finale nearly made me cry. Because Serena + Blair = Team of Awesome. ARGH. I did not want to like this show.

Yeah, everyone's so damn unlikeable in the books, and the slower pace doesn't help it that much.

Oooh, really? I haven't reached that episode yet, but now I'm excited about it. :)

Calvin and Hobbes! My bed has a bookshelf (oh my gosh I still fit in the same bed), so when I was four, I would wake up and read from one of my Calvin and Hobbes books.

Hee, I actually didn't know about it as a child (my first childhood comic strip love is Mafalda), but I just loooove it. I saw the 'absolute Calvin and Hobbes' in my last trip to the comic book store, and I totally drooled over it, lol. I already have too many C&H books, though, so I didn't ended up buying it, boo.
