You know, I'm willing to forgive this show a lot for episodes like this. Honest.
Supernatural 3x10 - Dream a Little Dream of Me:
Dreamweaving! God, I love this stuff, is so very riveting and incredible and I was surprised at how well treated it was in the show (for the most part, anyway). Bobby was a damn well awesome plus, but mostly the lore and the idea and my God the photography (I honestly hadn't seen such good photography in this show in... ages, dunno, especially in Dean's tête à tête with himself), it was fantastic. While I would have loved some larger, weirder dream scenes a la Sandman, I'm actually pleased. This kind of stuff usually ends up better in writing, anyway, so for tv it was okay. Okay, now for the as-I-watched commentary:
LOL LOL LOL SAM AND HIS WET DREAMS WITH BELA. XD He was drooling and everything! XDDD
Um. Why does dream!Bela have less of an accent than real!Bela? o_O
Hee, magical mystery tour! *g*
Okay, honestly, what the fuck is with Sam all of the sudden being hot for the woman that shot him once? That was probably the most off-putting thing about the episode. I did like that, at the end, Bela is still her usual bitchy and asshole-y self, though - it WAS awfully suspicious of her.
Jared? Looks delicious this week. Mmm...
Oh, God, Bobby. ;_____; Who'd thought that was how he started hunting? No wonder he got along with John, they were both pretty messed up about their dead wives.
Ah, Dean, forever wanting normal and yet hating it at the same time. Oooh, that switch between forest and forest-wallpapered hallway! SO. DAMN. INCREDIBLE.
Okay, we have two Dean's and Sam in bondage and ZOMG. IS THIS A FANTASY, OR WHAT? (Joking aside, Dean talking to himself was quite, quite well done) Mmm, about whether Sam's abilities helped him in the dreams, I'm not sure what to believe. I want to say 'yes', but Psycho Guy of the Week didn't have any (or did he? DUN DUN DUN DUN) and he could still control his surroundings.
Mostly, I'm just pleased to know that Dean is finally sorting his issues with himself, and that he's finally come clean about not wanting to die - that's been one of the most jarring issues this season and I'm glad to see it's finally over. And maybe Sam only kept on saying 'when you're gone' every like, three seconds to push Dean into saying he did care? I hope so. It is so, in my head, anyway.

It was also cool how inside Bobby's house, everything was slightly desaturated, while the saturation outside was crazyhigh.
yeah, I'm not sure about Sam liking Bela, but the scene itself was fun.
aww Bobby
I'm just pleased to know that Dean is finally sorting his issues with himself, and that he's finally come clean about not wanting to die -
yes.
