er, happy valentine's? Or something?

Me and a friend were bitching yesterday and being bitter about Valentine's day, and I bragged about how I wouldn't see the traditinal rose deliveries and stuff today and yeah, no one was even minding the date in the art school downtown today. Hooray.

BUT. I had to pick my brother up from school, and it was like a HEART-SHAPPED BALLOON EXPLOSION. My God. I was in the same high school, so I know how obnoxious people were there over Valentine's day. Ugh.

And on the same note! My brother got a love note from a secret admirer, which was awfully sweet and elementary school of her, considering my brother is a high school senior, lol. I've been teasing him about it since I found out, big sister duty, you see. XD

I didn't get the chance to see Torchwood yesterday, but I've already got them. I'm not excited at all about the first one and I kinda want to skip it because OMG MARTHA. SO. DAMN. EXCITED. *flails*

Hee! Secret admirer! That's so cute! The kitschy parts of Valentine's Day always bother me, the balloons and explosions of pink, and the ridiculous amounts of money spent on flowers that are just going to be dead by next week. But there is cheap candy everywhere the next day, so I tolerate it. *g*

I hate Valentine's day, but luckily didn't see much of it today.

And OMG OMG TORCHWOOD. Watch! so we can !!!!!!!!1eleven111!!! together, you know? The fifth episode wasn't all that bad - that is, it was typical Torchwood bad, but with some redeeming moments - but OMG the SIXTH! MARTHAAAAAA!!!!

I'M WATCHING, I'M WATCHING!!1! I just saw ep 5 and I agree - for this show, it was pretty darned impressive, even if it would be so bad for other show's standards XD Sadly, I have to pause for a bit to do homework. DAMN IT.

But once I'm done? IT IS MARTHA TIME, BABY.
