Now I can't even EXPORT into .jpeg from Illustrator, let's not even talk about saving as .ai.

WHYYYYYYY. ;_________________________;

(AND apparently the stupid RAM memory will be about 250 dlls. *cries some more*)

I honestly don't get how it got so bad so fast, it was okay about two months ago... AND OKAY, THAT'S IT. I've been lenient enough about my brother downloading porn from every single stupid site he sees. ENOUGH.

I'd say something helpful, if I weren't completely computing illiterate. :(

Also, dude. For letting your brother DL porn on your own computer, you get the Most Lenient Sibling of the Decade award. O_O

the bad thing is, it's supposed to belong to both of us even if I use it the most, and besides, can you imagine what an awkward conversation that'd be? ;____;

Er... how good's your anti-virus? Your firewall? How averse are you to wiping your machine?

First, I'd say try a scan for viruses; with up-to-date signatures. Then, check the remaining size of your hard disk; anything below 2 Gigabyte can lead to problems.

BTW, what's your Operating System? Windows XP? 2000? Linux?

What antivirus would you recomend? I have norton but the computer freezes everytime it opens (which is every day at 10pm. *headdesk*)

XP.

Okay. Norton? Is a shitty piece of bloatware. I've heard opinions that a virus infection would probably use *less* resources. What's a good, free anti-virus program? I'm using Avira AntiVir, which is available for free; I don't know whether there's a Spanish version, sadly, but an English one can be found here. Question: Do you have the an up-to-date system? With that I mean: Do you patch your Windows XP? Do you have your firewall enabled? If your using Firefox, I'd like to recommend the NoScript extension. That thing blocks all scripts (which is a major security problem), but you're able to activate them on a per-case base (which is necessary, because many sites need javascript, for example). (Oh, but you wouldn't have to tell your *brother* how to do that...) Please do *not* use the Internet Explorer in any version below 7. Recommendation: Opera 9 or Firefox 2. IE 7 *is* more secure than IE 6, but still, due to its popularity, it's a rather big target.
