I'm trying to watch the Mafalda animated movie (my God, how old is this thing?), but can't seem to get into it. It's just... Mafalda as a concept is so integrated to comic strips that it's just... weird, to see it as a cartoon, and even worse - in color. *gasp* Mafalda should always be in black and white, thank you very much. Besides, it's just a long remake of several strips with no logic order or anything resembling a plot and it's just... quite weird.

Also, apart from the Yellow Submarine style coloring, there hasn't been a single Beatles reference, which is sad. ;___;

I WANT TO SEE MANOLITO HACKING MAFALDA'S VINYL RECORDS TO SHREDS, OKAY? (which one was the one she had? With The Beatles judging by the cover? It fits the time. too...)

ETA: DUDE, NOT EVEN ONE MENTION OF BUROCRACIA! And I've always found the idea of a turtle called bureaucracy plain brilliant. ;_____;
