I'm really partial to the theory that cockroaches were once big and vicious enough to be a natural predator of humans, and the instinctive repulsion is still there, whether we want to or not. Just think about it, they're an itty bit of a thing, and yet the second we set eyes on one of those disgusting things of the devil them, the immediaty instict is to scream and run for something to kill it with.

On saturday, while I was alone in the house, I was getting a glass of water and suddenly, BAM, COCKROACH, 30 centimeters away from my BARE FEET. I screamed, ran for the broom, and attacked it viciously only for the devil's lovechild stupid thing to run UNDER THE FRIDGE. EW. So I went and sprayed the little motherfucker with my trusty raid insecticide, all while trying to keep my toes the farthest away from the fridge as possible and possibly chanting 'DIE YOU FUCKER, DIE' under my breath. I then kept watch for some ten minutes with the broom in hand to see if it would come out, but I got bored after a while.

UM.

Point being, what is it about this awful creatures that make everyone act so unrational? I mean, I know it's only a bug, and yet I scream loudly just at the sight of them. *SHUDDER*

Also, you should all check this blog, which shares pictures that FAIL. LOL. HILARIOUS, I SWEAR.

I don't like cockroaches. Not at all. But then, I'm not really a bug type of person. Spiders scare me. Worms freak me out. I hate wasps and woodlice. DO NOT LIEK THEMMMM.

But cockroaches -SHUDDER- they're all.. shiny & EBILLL looking & THEY R NOT BEING NICE AT ALLLL. Yes. I get rather irrational about bugs

I've never heard that theory...but, but. I like it. It makes sense. Sort of. Maybe if you don't think about it too hard.

(I'm still haven't recovered from the time one crawled on my back last month...::shudders::)

I'm not a bug person in the first place, but I don't feel as incredibly repulsed by any of them as I am by cockroaches. I don't scream or anything, but I get all irrationally scared, which doesn't happen with spiders or wasps or most other bugs.

And I really don't want to think about giant human-predating cockroaches. *shudders*

Cockroaches are vile. Like spiders. It takes so much out of me to clean cockroaches and spiders. LMG:skgj;asjg;ajg;j I get weirded out just by talking about them.

I have a problem with cockroaches seeing as how I had one crawl up my pant leg once. YEAH, YOU NEVER REALLY GET OVER THAT.

We get two kinds over here; I can deal with the tiny ones that occasionally crawl out of the woodwork, but the large, flying things? Yuckity yuck. They're completely disgusting.
