Okay so I'm really late buuut I just watched it:

Supernatural 3x14 - Long Time Call: It was okay. Nothing awesome and not too shabby either but it had some awesome lines and lovely brother emoporn so that's fine. My main thoughts run along the lines of HOLY SHIT BUT SAM LOOKED HOT.

And that's about it. Yes.

Oh man, there's nothing (NOTHING!) better than the precious S1 floppy hair. *loves on hair* Jared does look older with his forehead showing, though, which I guess what the effect they were going after.

I think you summed up my thoughts about LDC very neatly. And we are ALL used to the hotness of DW...but Sammy just hits me below the belt, so to say, sometimes. :)

Heh. No, Dean "does" it for me. :) But once with a friend we discussed evilSam and evilDean and immediately agreed that even with black eyes and stuff Dean's sexiness overpowers his evilness. But evilSam is truly scary! Wow.

yeah, it was okay, not bad and some great lines, but I was really sleepy at the time and the ep did no help, lol.

I was kind of expecting more, since Saw is one of my favorite movies (be quiet I didn't feel like watching the sequels nor the imitators though). But I guess they did all they could with that theme.
