nekare at 06:15pm on 14/05/2008 under doctor whoAw, Who is on tv right now. OH, NINE. I MISS YOU SO. If only it wasn't The Long Game, that's probably my least favorite S1 episode. At what are the new episodes are, anyway? I mean, they are up to S3 already, aren't they? *scratches head*
And now I just remember I didn't review last week's Who, which is sad considering I did like it a lot.
Doctor Who 4x06 - The Doctor's Daughter: In all honesty, I was pretty sad that it WASN'T Susan's mom after all. ;___; But oh well. Martha was a bit underused and that scene when Peck (or whatever his name was) dies was a bit crineworthy. The whole 'the war has being on for only 7 days' is a wonderful concept, but it suffered in excecution. The pace, really, it was all messed up. Slow down, folks, there's nothing wrong with the Doctor spending more than three hours in the same place.
And yet, Donna was wonderful and Martha was smart and awesome and the Doctor was adorkable and emo and a good father all at the same time and it was lovely. AND JENNY. EEK, JENNY. In all honesty, my favorite part of the episode is that Jenny is now canon, mostly because it opens so much in ways of fic - she is lovely and sweet and cute and kickass and I want to see it again. :D :D
Other than that, it's been a sucky couple of days. More later, probably.
