I think - I think I'm safe, at least for now. I found an abandoned house to hide, and a group of people were already there, some of them armed. I don't know anyone, though, and I'm all alone, and it's cold and it's raining and there are dead people walking the streets. It's not all right.

The tv's down but the radio is working. Some stations are broadcasting the news, and, God, it's so terrifying, it's happening everywhere, and no one knows how it started. Most of the stations just end up flickering and then going into static, and that is even scarier.

We're all just sitting together in the empty living room, far closer than strangers would usually do, just worrying. Most of us haven't been able to contact our families. One of the guys here could, only to listen to his cousin get eaten. I just. This is horrible. We don't have food and we hardly have weapons and I don't know what we'll do.

We can hear them outisde the house, shuffling their feet and calling out but not saying anything and they've been hammering against the walls for an hour and the stench, oh God.

they just reached my brother's house. i can hear them pounding on the garage door. i barricaded it with the pool table, but the door is splintering and some of them are moving to the side windows right now.

fuck, Ale. i don't even have a radio in here. cell signals are all jammed. the wireless is flickering in and out, and the major news sites are all down. too much traffic, i'd imagine. so it's not just here, then. i don't what what i'm going to do either.

Barricade, barricade, everthing else can wait but not that. Do you have a basement? Maybe that would be the wisest choice. Right now I can see their shadows through the tiny gap beneath the doors and oh God, I've been shaking all day long.

I haven't been able to even use my cell phone since this morning, although the fact that it got wet in the rain doesn't help. Or that I slipped in a puddle of blood while running from them.

OH GOD FINALLY, BB. I was about to add 'AND WHERE THE HELL IS CROOKED' at the end, lol, 'cause this day just wouldn't be the same without you. ♥

yeah we have a basement here, but i locked my grandma and the kids down there. i wanted to take the zombies off their trail. i think i really fucked myself over.

they haven't made it past just yet, and i'm not sure why things are holding up as well as they are. but fuck if i'm complaining! i've at least got a collection of ninja swords and a few ninja stars in here with me. and there's a chainsaw in the corner.

god, i just... at least we can communicate this way until the wireless gives out. i feel so sick to my stomach. like you said, the stench is ungodly.

At least they're safe, and, okay, a chainsaw sounds like a fucking awesome thing to have right now. I've been using this badly made guitar from my brother's, but it's completely drenched in blood and guts by now and falling appart and all I have left is a tiny swiss knife. I really should raid a kitchen soon and grab a couple of knives.

I'll try and do so - one of the strangers I'm with has a gun, although it's obvious he's never fired it, and a girl has a machete - I can't even IMAGINE where she got it from. So I'm definitely sticking with them.

Oh shit I can't believe they're in Mexico too! I was hoping it was just an isolated incident and that everyone else was safe....this is so not good.

They're EVERYWHERE, from what I can hear in the radio - there's been talks of nuking Moscow, apparently it originated in there, I don't know, I don't know what the fuck is going on.

The radios went out about an hour ago...when I was driving home from work they just went out. I have no idea what's going on or if the government is doing anything to save us. You'll have to keep me updated.

As long as protection from the military doesn't mean code red, or anything like it - but really, I've been wondering if there's still a government by now. ANY goerntment, there hasn't been a single official release issued in the radio, just brief news programmes. That almost always end up in screaming and static.
