Likewise - seeing all the companions (and Harriet Jones!) was rather rad (especially if you ignore Rose's hissy fit of 'I WAS FIRST, ZOMG'), but the rest was... ugh. RTD keeps on doing this, being all EPIC and whatever and never Getting It Right. He's much better on small stuff, like Midnight, which isn't as pretentious.
