Zomg, CLAMP, what the hell are you on?
I still haven't watched Who's finale. I'm dreading it a bit, if I have to be honest. UM. In other news, I had to go to school once again to fix yet another thing with the student exchange. The paperwork has been so exhaustive and long that I BETTER get accepted. Grr.
I re-read all of my Card Captor Sakura collection last week (physical collection, mind. I only own about ten tankoubons of Tsubasa and eight of xxxHolic, but I’m only missing a few issues of CCS, which is made of awesome), seeing that I’ve been in an odd manga mood, and I decided it was time around to catch up with Clamp.
Well. I’m all caught up with Tsubasa now, and I am very, very confused. Uh. I left off when they’d just returned to Celes country, and as if Fai’s backstory wasn’t enough of a mindfuck (aside with the whole SYAORAN IS A CLONE!!1! thing, that is), then EVERYTHING else happened. UM. WHAT. I feel like my mind has been severely fucked with and can’t tell up from down anymore. Sakura was a clone? And now the clone is (maybe) dead? And as she’s lost and clone Syaoran is as well pretty much all the road so far amounts to nothing? Syaoran is CCS Syaoran and Sakura’s kid?? (incesty vibes much…) Sakura got her memory wiped? OR WHAT, because I spent the last 190 issues thinking Clow was her dad and Fujitaka was Syaoran’s adopted father and now it ISN’T? ARGH, I DON’T KNOW NOTHING ANYMORE. Um. I still love it, and it’s still thrilling, but man, was it easier without all these weird twists. If the gals are trying to get themselves in the mood to write/draw more X, though, I’m pretty sure they won’t have any troubles with that. This better have a happy ending. I mean, it should, right? It’s still Sakura and Syaoran, after all. Seishirou and Subaru had an ending like that because it called for it (speaking of which, boy, do I want to see them meet up, no matter how ridiculous I find the ‘ZOMG vampires are KEEWWL’ storyline), but these two, well, they’re supposed to be all happiness and fluffy bunnies. OR AT LEAST I EXPECT SO.
It is my firm belief that Kamui’s true power is to spread angst whenever he goes. Seriously, the boy has a gift for it. Any of the other dragons showed up and it was dandy. He does and the world goes gloomy and – GASP – Clamp starts throwing grayscale tones around. Grayscale tones of doom, I might add. o_O
Oh, and I’m also all caught up with xxxHolic. It is, as always, just charming, and it’s managed to remain mysterious and intriguing without going into the realm of wtfuckery like Tsubasa has. Huh. I love Tsubasa, but boy, does it sometimes make my head ache.

Inche Clamp, son las diosas de lo fucked up con un toche de belleza. Me tienen así desde Tokyo Babylon >_>, luego el mega trauma que fue X (todavía no me recupero) y acá igual que tú estoy esperando el encuentro entre Seisho y Subaru y quiero ver la reacción de Kamui y ahh seguro alguien morirá y creo q me alejaré un par de años para volver y leer de corrido porque AHHH cómo odio esperar, d vdd lo detesto.
Y no yo no creo que esto tenga happy ending, es CLAMP, creo que con SCC terminó su quota de cosas felices y monas y todo lo demás lo hacen para hacernos sufrir xD malditas.

Yep, and - wait for it - he's a vampire. LOL LOL LOL. That whole storyline is so damned ridiculous, haha. He's Kamui's twin in this one, and he's sort of going from world to world trying to escape Seishirou (half dragged by Kamui, really, because he hates Seishirou big time) and yet being all starry-eyed in love with him. The haven't met so far, though! So the orgy of sakura petals and blood is still pending. AND I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT IT. :D

(although I kind of remember fondly the old days in X when Subaru would fix Kamui's tie and smoke moodily in the corner with Kamui all vulnerable and start-struck in the corner, because that was damn cute - and awfully messed-up, thanks to Seishirou XD)
