I'm PMSing so I've been tearing up all day long at the 'So many people voting! Like never before!' blurbs, and at those commercials they're doing for 'vote for hero of the year!' and, um, PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING? ER.
Gosh, I hope Obama wins. I've never GOTTEN people that don't vote. When I was a kid, I would make counts and counts and SQUEE everytime I realized I would be 18 in the 2006 elections - and on that year, I voted for the first time and was GIDDY about it, regardless of my faith in the system. Said 2006 election was important in that so many people voted - but that was mostly so fucking Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AKA Peje, the fucktard) would stay as FAR AWAY FROM THE GOVERNMENT AS POSSIBLE. Yeah.
So even if it's not my country, I'd never actually seen a candidate that made me BELIEVE in politics, you know? PLEASE, WORLD. DON'T YOU DISSAPPOINT ME AGAIN.
Elections should be held on weekends EVERYWHERE, though. WHAT'S THIS NONSENSE OF ELECTION DAYS DURING WORK DAYS?
(My fucking teammates haven't done ANYTHING for our fucking project. Fuck them, I'll tell the teacher I did it all by myself. AAAARRRRGH.)
