The Devil's Whore, as expected, was absolutely stunning. Visually, it's just gorgeous, really detailed and fantastically illuminated. Plot-wise, the pacing could be a bit better, but it's quite interesting, and the characters are all intriguing and fantastically acted. Also, there's John Simm. ;alskjflsjdf, John Simm. The man is so striking. Also, and this is me being shallow about clothes, the costumes are, omg, so fucking beautiful. YAY PRETTY DRESSES. AND YAY PRETTY OMINOUS SKIES AND PRETTY, PRETTY PHOTOGRAPHY.
I honestly don't know anything about this specific time period, so I can be judge on historical authenticity, but at least it doesn't look as blatantly changed as The Tudors, lol. Really, I love it so far, and am anxious for more. :3
(I love epic period pieces, but, honestly, I'm sort of sick of Regency serials on the tv. And the Tudors have been everywhere these last few years. So good for a bit of change! NEXT WE'LL HAVE MEXICAN REVOLUTION AND I'LL DYE LAUGHING.)

Me encantó! Esperemos y siga con el mismo nivel (o más) en los siguientes capítulos. Y me muero de ganas de ver a Angelica vestida de hombre con Sexby, nggggh. Me encanta cuando la tele se atreve a usar foto de cine. No por ser tele se deber ver feo, digo.
Mira, yo juraba que Little Dorrit era regencia! Aunque la verdad solo se me antojaba verla por Freema, y al parecer ni tanto, porque ni siquiera he tratado de bajarla. HUH. (eso si, ahi me veras viendo su programa postapocaliptico toda emocionada, jaja). North and South la quiero ver porque, uh, porque me Richard Armitage esta para comerselo, pues. QUE PENA PERO ES CIERTO.

Crossdressing FTW. Supongo que sí seguirá el nivel. ¿Crime and Punishment sí la habías visto, no? Porque esa también es visualmente preciosa (y a Mr Simm de prota) xD
No, Little Dorrit está ambientada a mitad del XIX. Por Freema no la veas, pero Matthew MacFadyen (que nunca me acabó de convencer como Darcy, aunque sea lo mejor de not!P&P) está maravilloso, y el resto del cast es genial (Andy Serkis es súper creepy y hace genial de malo).
MIRA NORTH AND SOUTH, POR DIOS. Richard Armitage aparte (que sí,está para comerselo), me parece de las mejores series de época que se han hecho.
Ya contarás que tal la serie postapocalíptica de Freema! :D

Little Dorrit y Bleak House me gustaron, pero no pude seguirlas del todo porque son adaptaciones de Dickens y siempre deteste Dickens. Pero las dos estan muy bien hechas y tienen un elenco fantastico (mis highlights de Bleak House fueron mi adorada Scully, Gillian Anderson, toda fria y altiva y lady-like, y Burn Gorman entre amoroso y repelente como Guppy)

Iba a decir que Matthew MacFadyen siempre se ve mejor con ropa anacronística, y luego me acordé de su LOLTASTICO traje en Ashes to Ashes, jaja.
Una amiga en RL resulto ser fan de Richard Armitage (y ha habido conversaciones sobre su trajecito de piel negra en Robin Hood, si) y la esta encargando o algo asi. A ver si luego me la presta, que si me dan muchas muchas ganas de verla, vi promos y se ve bellísima.
