While I was in London I went to see Spring Awakening in the West End, and it was absolutely brilliant. I've never really been one for musicals, but oh, I loved this one so much, and I've been listening to the soundtrack non-stop since I got back, haha. I kept thinking there was something wrong about it, though, and couldn't figure out what, until I realized that at the speaking part in one of the songs it didn't have an English accent, and it was weirding me out, haha. Even with the higher quality recording of the Broadway show, some actors had better singing voices in the London one, though. Ahhh, I really want to see it again, really.

I've been uploading all the photos I took last week to facebook, and it's taking forever. I do want to post some pics in here 'cause I don't think I've uploaded any pictures since I got here (errrr), but just thinking of resizing/uploading/commenting on them makes me tired, lol. So you'll probably get an abridged version, haha.

I did mostly nothing for most of the day, it was awesome. I just hung around with my cute cute flatmate in the kitchen and went grocery shopping (with him in tow, lol) aaaand that was it. I'd missed him, honestly.

Spring Awakening is simply magnificent. I love every single song (except for My Junk, really) and I've been listening to it non-stop for almost two years. So yay for seeing it and listening to it. :D

hee it's interesting to see such success for the musical, teen-oriented (no value judgement) reboot of a show started in the early 20th century
