I've spent most of my life going "Oh, God, not another one" whenever I saw a description of a 'lovely, sunny day', after which I'd go "well that's obviously someone that's never been remotely close to the equator."

And, um, now? I'm starting to get it. ER. The last couple of days have been amazing, with not a cloud on the blue blue sky and all sunny and warm - if my flist is anything to judge by, it's been like this all over Britain. I went out with only a sweatshirt today! I guess it's just that you don't roast alive while out in the sun in here, but it genuinely feels amazing to lie on the grass with the sun on your face. I usually go for rainy, cloudy days, and I still love those, but I had more than enough of that in Ireland, lol, it rained every single day XD So today I just went and sat on a park after class and drew and read for a bit and it was so very nice.

I'm pretty sure I'll go back to hating sunny days as soon as I'm back in Mexico, though. Apparently it's supposed to be from 35 to 45 degrees this summer, which means you'll get an extra crispy, oven-baked Ale, yikes.

(The boy and I had a, well, quite awkward time yesterday, sexually, and now he had to leave for this weird trip for his phd and it's a bit... strange. I don't know, I want him to come back so we can, dunno, fix it, or something. Er. TMI, I KNOW. I just, have to let it out?)
