I cannot believe people are actually saying Eleven's outfit is the worse of all times - even over Six's. Just. It might not be the flashiest, but seriously, worse than SIX? That was VILE, come on. Anyway, I hadn't posted my reaction to the new costume, so here goes: Love it! Very Doctorish in that it's weird, and I just adore the contrast between the look of him with the clothes. You know he's trying to compensate for how young he looks by looking like a grumpy old professor, bow-tie and everything. I'm quite pleased, in all, I hadn't really been excited about Who in ages!
Amy Pond looks adorable, as well, and very stylish. I approve! I also approve of River Song coming back, it'll be fun to see it play out - she already looked a bit older than Ten, now she'll make Eleven look like a kid next to her, and I, um, have a bit of A Thing for older woman/younger man flings, SO. The TARDIS is a bit TOO blue, though. I like it better when it looks a bit more battered.
So, it's been a while! I saw HBP last friday, it was lovely! I always go see the movies with the mindset that they'll be fun and a very, very loose adaptation, so I have never had the heart to pile hatred on any of them. So yeah, the magic looked amazing (Dumbledore+fire=awesomesauce) and the kids looked comfortable with each other and it was really funny and I really wouldn't mind seeing it again!
Other than that I've been doing a lot of nothing. I read, I walk, and I talk to the boy for hours on end. Aaaand, that's it. WELL.

Like, seriously people... this is not the worst. And I love the little bow tie too. :3

... then again, I even like the Sixth Doctor's clothes (despite the fact that they make my eyes bleed), so I might not be the best judge of things.

I agree completely! It's been awhile since I've been really excited for Who... but after seeing these photos I'm ready for it to be Spring 2010 now!
