Just watched Inglourious Basterds, and it was SO GOOD. It has flaws, obviously, and while I know it's Tarantino and everything, toning down the 'violence as fun' in key scenes would've made it even better - I get it's his style, but a bit less satire would've fitted better with the lovely classical feeling of the rest of the movie. Lovely acting, too, especially by the girls in the film, and omg, Daniel Brühl! Poor guy, he's had to be a nazi in like four films now, lol. But yes, I loved it.
The boy is incredibly ill and it's driving me mad not being able to do anything, he was actually shivering while lying on his bed covered by his duvet when we talked today, looking awful. I wish he wasn't such a GUY about going to see a doctor, and I wish I could be there to cuddle him. ;____; I'm going out tonight, too, which he asked about, and I wish I didn't feel a bit bad about going out to have fun while he's feeling miserable. SIGH. Stupid distance, I guess.

Inglourious Basterds was well... glorious. I wrote a little bit about it on my other blog (http://plasticbeads.wordpress.com) about it, so I am not going to repeat myself here, but I did love it.

Oh, that movie. SO much love. :3 left a comment in your blog, which is awesome, btw, I don't think I'd told you before.

And ooh the irony that we watch the Germans cheer on Daniel Bruhl's character killing people and then we in the movie theater (or at least I was) watch them get killed

Thanks, btw, the boy's much better already. :)
