The strongest associations I have with music are from road trips. There was one long stretch in the day, on the way to Southern California, where "American Pie" was the moment. That's the only way I could describe it. And in the night, I took off my glasses, all the lights were blurry, and "Killing Me Softly" was perfect.

Favourite Worst Nightmare I associate with a bunch of things going on in my life in 2007.

I can't even play "Time Has Come Again" off The Last Shadow Puppets' album that much because I associate it too strongly with a missed chance.
