Bones 6x06: Probably the best of the season so far, because it went back to make me feel something by the end of it, instead of the indifference like the rest of season 6. It's just been so boring as of lately, which pains me. It's been feeling like lame season 2 fillers, with the characterisation right back to that time. For some reason they made Brennan go back so many years in her emotional growth, which feels pointless at this time.

And also the whole Hanna storyline feels so contrived and very, shall we say, PASTED ON YAY. On the whole I like Hanna as a character, she's ballsy and interesting, and if this show knows how to do something, it's writing amazing girls (look at Cam and how she was introduced!) but the thing is everyone and their mothers knows that the show will eventually end up with Booth/Brennan (because it's the way of the world), so creating a new (albeit nice) character just to inspire pettyness and jelousy is, well, weird and awkward. If she would only fit into the format of the show and she could stay a regular as, dunno, their link to the media or whatever, that'd be better, but it's obvious she's just meant to be around to sort of just 'prevent' Booth and Brennan to be together, in a way.

Like I said, this is feeling awfully old school, and not in a good way, more than they're just rehashing Cam's storyline, and making everyone look like they've regresed instead of moved forward - there were revelations last season, and it was huge, how they both accepted they're into each other real hard, and pretending like it never happened, eh, doesn't ring well with me. Yeah, I don't know, I just wished the show would start improving, or at least getting back to it's usual awesome place, because right now it's lacking.
