SO! I'm looking for make-up recommendations!

Foundation, to be exact. I've been using MAC's Studio Sculpt one, which is really amazing, I love it, BUT, it's pretty expensive, and although it has lasted around 6 months by now, and I still have some, I'd really like to try out something a bit cheaper that won't hurt my pocket even if it lasts less. So, what kind do you guys use? (unless, that is, that you all have perfectly even and lovely smooth skin, which, alas, I do not)

Before I started using this kind I'd been wearing this unknown-brand one that came in a creamy tube, and while I liked it back then, I think I much prefer liquid foundations now, especially the non-oily ones. So, a bit of help?

I use Cargo foundation but it is definitely not cheap :\ Probably around the same as MAC. It's really really good though - liquid and light on my skin. Definitely non-oily. It's this one here > http://www.totalbeauty.com/reviews/product/6017261/cargo-foundation-oil-free

Thanks! Yeah, a bit pricey, but I'll try and look for it. :) MAC gets sooo expensive in the change to Mexican pesos, it sounds so much cheaper in dollars. ;___; Either US or Canadian, lol. I caved and got one of their paintpots today though, so pretty!

I'm excited that you made this post!

My love affair with Bare Minerals has about run its course as I'm realizing/accepting that mineral/powder foundation is not cute with combination/dry skin.

have you tried using a primer? i use Pur Minerals with a primer and I love it (and I have combo skin, though, not dry. so maybe it's the dry parts that aren't working with the mineral stuff and therefore my advice is moot, BUT, worth a shot!)

liquidwise, i always really liked infallible: http://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/default.aspx#/#/?page=top{userdata//d+d//|diagnostic|main:pdp//objectid+Cos21c_1//{pdp_tab:pdp_overview//objectid+Cos21c_1//}|media:_blank|nav|overlay:_blank}

I went to MAC yesterday to ask and this foundation is soooo expensive when translated to mexican pesos. ;___; but so cute. It's supposed to leave your skin looking the way it does after a shower (sorta, I guess), so it might look good on you if you have mostly dry skin? I'm pretty oily and it looks a bit too wet, but after setting powder it looks nice.

Might research that bare minerals one though!
