nekare at 03:22pm on 07/05/2013I just heard that one of my cousins from San Diego just commited suicide. She was still in high school, what the hell, I knew she was having trouble at home, but jesus. So shaken up. Apparently she jumped into a dam? Or something? I mean, she'd been posting selfies and totally normal stuff in facebook three days ago.
I hadn't seen her in two or three years and we were never really tight or anything, but it's still so bizarre and sad. I can't imagine what her sister, parents and grandmother are going through.
Last year my grandma's brother, from the same family and last name shot himself in his bathroom. Crazy stuff. Nothing to do with each other with the 50 year generation gap and they probably never met, but what are the odds.
ETA: The only thing I can find that fits is this? it's been treated as a homicide though, so we're still with the what the fuck theme. Christ.
