Have you guys been following Kate Beaton's new sketch comic, Ducks, Ducks, Ducks?

I thought it was really beautiful, in a sad, quietly despairing way. It's really powerful for a sketchy comic about day to day life.

I love how such a 'simple' style of drawing can pack such a punch. Kate Beaton for queen of everything.

Yeah, I loved it. The bit that hit hardest to me, I think, was where she'd heard people from her area had died in a car crash and desperately ran around trying to find out who. My town is very like that.

I really hope she'll keep making comics like this one. I love her funny ones, but her writing and expressions really shone here.
