Ageless
Doctor Who/Good Omens crossover - Rose/Crowley – Water – White – 286 Words
The Doctor leaves her on May, and Rose sits in St. James Park wishing the weather and that damn water that just won’t fall from the sky would suit her mood.
“You look like you could use this dashing make specimen to cheer you up,” a handsome stranger dressed all in chic black and a white tie says to her after a month, and Rose soon stops coming to the park because it’s the place she last saw the Doctor and starts coming because it’s the place she first saw Crowley.
There’s something about the glow of his eyes behind dark sunglasses, the way his tongue peeks outside the corner of his mouth too often, about the way there’s too much knowledge hidden between his modern wording, something that she can’t help but be attracted to.
(Crowley reminds her of him, and yet sometimes he’s so different it hurts.)
Crowley believes her when she tells him about traveling across the universe, so she believes him when he tells her he’s the demon that tempted Eve. It’s only fair, after all.
Her mother hates him, and Rose sometimes wonders whether she would like him as much if Jackie could stand the sight of him.
Crowley shows her his plants on October, when it’s finally raining and she doesn’t feel like crying anymore, and she turns and kisses him as he stands frozen in the middle of his sharper than sharp living room.
“I’m not him,” he says, not pushing her away. “I can’t give you time.”
She helps him out of his shirt. “No, but you can tell me about it.”
He kisses her back, and this time, he’s the one tempted by one of Eve’s daughters.
