No, it's not, but you still have to be over 18 to buy it. That magazine wasn't Maxim, though, I remember because it did have nudes, instead of Maxim's bikinis and stuff. *shrug* Nah, we have our share of porn. I remember when my mother found my brother's secret stash XD (and that was porn, my.)

Consider me boggled.
And, to be quite honest, so what? I'd rather my offspring will read porn than hate propaganda or similar. Or, to quote Hard Candy:"You're a man. You all should have porn lying around somewhere. I mean, it's socially accepted, right?" (The fact that she doesn't find it makes her suspicious.)

No, I'm not a big fan of the for example the US-American rating system, where blood and murder and torture still make a movie PG, but God forbid there should be but a second of naked breasts. I simply don't get it.

I know that's an old post but anyway I just read it. So, my question: when you got to be 18 to buy this magazine is it still openly displayed in the store? Because that's what I never got. When I was younger I'd often look at the covers and if I was with other grown-ups besides my parents they'd sometimes try to make me look away without other people noticing.
Do people actually REALLY care how old you are? I mean here I bought cigarettes when I was 9 as well. (Then again when I was in the North of germany they wouldnt sell me sweets filled with alcohol. Idiots.)

Yeah, that's always odd, I mean, usually in here, people put little stickers saying 'over 18 only' over the, uh, naughty parts in magazines, which looks ridiculous as fuck, in all honesty XD

That happens anywhere, I guess, minors can buy cigarettes all over the place, but once, a friend did got ask for an ID and she just stumbled over the words.
