I saw Little Miss Sunshine on Saturday, and asljfasjdfl;asjf IT'S SO GOOD! Me and my dad were crying from laughing so much! I love the way it has so many drama elements, and yet it's so funny, and the complete turn it gives. The first shot, for example, was painfully beautiful, and so utterly heartbreaking - showing every character at their worst and most obsesive, only to make them learn and get better by the end. Dwayne and Olive are just soooo cute together, grandpa was fun as hell and Frank was probably the most sympathetic of them all. ANYWAY. I loved this movie to bits and I'm definitely getting it in DVD once it's out. :))
On Monday, I went to see the theatrical adaptation of Festen, starring, DUM DUM DUM, Diego Luna (who looked just about edible in a tux). The play was rather good - solid acting and a nice plot, but it reminded me of why I like movies better than theatre - the last one's a bit to over the top, exagerated. Still, there's this scene which is supposed to happen in three different rooms at the same time with three different couples, and here, it all happened in the same room, meaning that there were six people running around the stage ignoring the couple doing the nasty on the floor and a woman looking for the ghost of her dead sister. That kinda rocked really hard. Diego was awesome as well - I'd never seen him do a character quite as traumatized and hard as that.
Mom and I finished our S1 marathon today, after watching Dead Man's Blood, Salvation, and Devil's Trap. I MISS PAPA WINCHESTEEEEER!! Boo. Mom's a spoiler freak, so she made me tell her what happened after, which was kinda creepy because I realize I kinda now most of In My Time of Dying's dialogue by heart. o_O Also, she made me tell her Teh Seekrit from Hunted. I do love my SPN obsessed mother. :))
I also miss the old laptop. Probably because it's the same one as mine XDD It's the same thing as when I realized that my cell phone was the same as the one Rose has in S1 of Doctor Who *g*
