Well, I had quite the weekend, hence the lack of updating. I went shoe shopping on friday with my mom! I'd been aching to go shop for ages, and I got

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Aren't they beautiful? I just couldn't help myself. (I actually wanted a new, colorful pair of converse, but I saw these ones and went OMG THEY GOTTA BE MINE. They're a bit small, but...) And then I made an ass out of myself when I showed up for a party and called everyone and their mothers 'cause nobody opened the door and realized that the party was A DAY LATER. Yeah. That was ridiculous. *hides*

On Saturday, I went to watch Casino Royale. First things first, I'm a HUGE Bond fan (We - as in, teh family and I - would make marathons on weekends, and that's stuck as one of my tender memories), and as long as I try and pretend that Moonraker, with Roger Moore, never happend (the plot; James Bond On Space! And on crack, because OMG but it's one of the most HORRIBLE movies I've EVER seen), I like most movies for the best part. Okay, back to the XXIst century: I loved the musical opening, it ticked my design-whore buttons in all the right ways, although my favorite Bond opening is Garbage's The World is Not Enough. I loved the seeting - Bond's beginning as 007, quite interesting, and yes, I LOVED Daniel Craig. So much love for that man. (My favorite Bond might or might not be Pierce Brosnan, though. *hides again*) It got too mushy at times, though, but then it was back to bullets zooming everywhere and I went 'yay!'. At the end, James Bond movies are the only action movies I can stomach, however machistas, stupid and silly they are. *shrug*

Then I went to the actual party I'd tried going on Friday (*HEADDESK*), and it was nice - it was my best friend, Karen's birthday, and most of the high school gang was there. Then, because the party girl demanded it, we went to a salsa club. It was fun, and real entertaining, but I didn't get to dance that much, considering that I'd NEVER danced salsa in my life. But oh well, I'd like to learn. :)

Today I finished my last illustration for graphic desing (which was a BITCH to do), and I got everbody angry with the smell of both the markers and the solvent. Today was the final for the futbol championship, and, lo and behold, my teem won! I don't really care for futbol (er, soccer, for all of you people in the US), but my brother is a MAJOR Chiva fan, so he shouted and cheered and dragged us all to La Minerva, the most representative monument in here, in where all of the people goes to celebrate (and boy, did they celebrate - they put chiva flags (red and white stripes) all along a 15 story high building nearby o_O). It was fun, though, seeing all of the people going around waving flags and dancing and being silly all around *g*

Those shoes are soo cute! ^^. I love the polkadotted ones♥.

I saw Casino Royale last week. I think I may just have an affinity for older men, but he was way hot. o_o. I know what you mean about the mush though. I liked all the fighting, especially in the beginning. Gah. I love Bond movies.:)!

Thanks! They kinda make my feet ache, but oh, is the cuteness worth it XD

Oooh, he is. I've found Daniel Craig really, really hot since I saw Layer Cake. Oooh, the beginning was all athletic-like! I loved that part. :)

I love your polkadot shoes! They're so cute.

mmmm...Daniel. I agree, some of the gushy parts were a bit much, but it did involve a shirtless!Daniel, and that made me quite happy.

By the way, did you get my email? I just wanted to make sure you got it ok.

*dotes on the polkadot*

Well, I guess if that's the turning point in him becoming quite the ladies man, it's something that was bound to happen, but... I don't really like seeing James Bond in love. It's like, fundamentally wrong, or something. But yeah, shirtless!Daniel is always a good thing *g* And his eyes! I wouldn't be surprised if they like, shone in the dark, or something *g*

You mean your address? Yeah, actually, I just wrote it down in the envelope, although I'm still not done with the cards.

His eyes are so pretty, my mom kept going on and on about them after the movie. If you watch "Layer Cake" they're just as pretty in that film.

Yes, my address. Good, I was hoping you got it, for some reason I was paranoid that I sent it to the wrong email :D

SHOES SHOES SHOES...okay got that out of my system...I am such a shoe whore (although people really don't say that to my face :P)
Those shoes are so very cute :)
I have been wanting to see the new Bond film myself, but haven't been well enough to go out lately :( Everyone I have heard of that has seen it says they love it. I liked Pierce Brosnan as Bond, but I wasn't terribly thrilled with all the movies he was in (maybe I was in a funk or maybe it was the writing or storylines who knows *shrug*)

I have also been having my own 'day early' days. I was reading stories on FF.net and came across one that I really liked, I am all 'Great storyline and good spelling, I really like this, have to add it to my favorites' OMG it was one of MY stories O.o yeah, I think I am getting a little senile as I get older lol.

Take Care,
Aileene
p.s. I got some pictures taken or the snow this weekend, now I just have to download them and I'll email them to ya :)

Hey! I liked Moonraker! Except for the title song, that is. (Oh, Shirley, what have you done?)

RE:Casino Royale: I *loved* the tournament, especially since I play Texas Hold'em myself; and yes, the song was cool. How'd you like the screwball scenes?

the polkadots ones look like mine... except without polkadots.

Hey, that's better than what I did! I almost went to a party on saturday that I wasn't invited to but thought I was.

Están muy chidos. Son cómo bailarinas ¿no? A mí me encantan esos zapatos. De hecho, de esos y tenis son lo único que uso porque los tacones y yo no nos llevamos muy bien :)

A mí no me gusta el futbol pero mi cuñado también es chiva y también se fue a La Minerva (creo). Supongo que habrá estado por allá waving flags and dancing and being silly all around

ZOMG THE SHOES ARE SO GORGEOUS!! :D :D :D

Football seems to be quite popular in Mexico, huh? :)

I kinda squee a bit everytime I see them XD

It is! Yesterday? When the team got to la Minerva with the trophy? There were about 150 thousand people in there o_O There were fireworks an all. It's like, the major THING in the country - and all us people that don't really care about sports are just left with next to nothing *sigh*

Woah XD I mean, I was just a bit surprised, because it's so unpopular in the US, so I was kind of expecting it to be similar. Then again, if I think of Argentina... whom we beat in the World Cup... XD

Football really is the only sport that's really celebrated here. I mean, yeah, you hear about other things here and then, but only the football stadiums are filled to the brim (especially now, after the World Cup). Oh, and of course stuff like those winter olympics, you know with the skiing and biathlon and everything; people like to watch that too and you hear a lot about it, but it's not as present, you know?

...Though, erm, it's not like I'm interested in those things now or anything. XD

Shoes! I love shoes.

James Bond is my secret obsession(Pierce is my favorite Bond as well, by the way). I've even started reading the books!

Haha, who doesn't?

Oooh, how are they? I've never wanted to read them, in case they spoil the fun for me... Ah, Pierce is just so pretty, isn't he? *g*

They pretty good! Except they can be a pretty sexist at times...but then again they were written in the 50's and people's view on women was alot different back then. So if you can get passed that, then they're quite entertaining!
