My wincest idea, as it was proposed to my betas, is something along the lines of With Sam being all apologetic b/c even though he had no control over the demon he still feels guilty. And he remembers what it was like with the shapeshifter in St Louis; even though he knew it wasn't Dean, it still affected him to hear those things from his brother's mouth. And Sam'll be all schmoopy about it and want to kiss each of the wounds he caused (um, yeah, I wrote wendy bday fic and never gave it to anyone but her and this reminds me of part of that). And Dean lets him because 1- It's Sam & Dean can't refuse him anything. 2 - it's gonna lead to sex, obviously. and 3 - with his mouth otherwise occupied, Sam can't keep talking all the crazy bullshit about going dark and wanting Dean to kill him.
