Supernatural 2x22 - All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2: Shall I get it over with and say 'Oh, Dean'?

Those first moments of Dean watching over Sam's corpse were actually painful, and that's where I started crying. And then the pact and oh, Dean, WHYYYYYY, only one year left, poor baby. And then Sam's there and he's checking his back ('meowr,' goes Ale's pervy mind), and THERE IS A HUG. FINALLY. ('a;lkjlajfl;kjsf' goes Ale's broken mind)

Bobby's look when he first sees Sam was so well acted, along with Dean's slouched shoulders, and then OMG BOBBY WAS AWESOME. Well, he always is, but it was more than usual when he called Dean on his crap, and woah, but that was a painful scene. And Then Ellen gets has to pass the holy water test, lol XD

I very much liked the gate of hell idea, it was very epic and massive and just right for the finale. AND OMG SAMMY KILLED JAKE. OMG. It was a bit distubing and just creepy because he was obviously so mad about having realized what Dean had done for him. AND THEN JOHN CRAWLS FROM HELL AND I DIE A HAPPY FANGIRL.

I'm torn about the YED dying, though. It was an awesome son of a bitch, and he made things so interesting, but, in the other hand, it made the finale have such a sense of closure and ending, and the Winchesters, all three of them, can finally be in peace (well, sorta). Also, Sam reassuring Dean that the whole 'I'd die for you in a second' thing goes both ways.

As for the next season, I'm loving the idea of a ticking clock - it'll make everything seem so urgent, so desperate, and I'll be great, I just know it. There's still so many unanswered questions, too, which I find incredible - How did Mary knew the YED? What about the other generations of Psykids? What will happen to Sam's powers? And, more importantly, how will Sam save Dean? It was a great set-up for the third season, while being subtle enough that the episode still would have been an incredible series finale. I'm just glad it isn't, though. *g* Anyway, this took so long 'cause I was feeling too drained and blah yesterday to actually do anything at all - my squee was great, but my car's A/C refused to cool yesterday and an hour trapped in a walking oven at midday can make even the most annoyingly happy people go a bit sour.

Welcome to May, I guess, our actual summer and the most horrible month of the year for people in Guadalajara; that horrid time when internal organs get cooked and cars become deathly ovens and the floor burns feet through thick shoe soles. Oh, June, come already and bring rain with you. *whimpers* *goes back to fanning herself desperately*

In other news, we had an incredible debate yesterday in Deontology class - we were supposed to be congressmen for Jalisco, and decide on whether a)legalize abort the way Mexico City did and b)give full marriage rights to couples of the same sex, adoption rights included. It was pretty fascinating, and we voted yes to everything by a HUGE majority. It also made me finally get a side: I'm anti-abortion, but I'm in favour of its legalization. While I I don't believe it's the right choice for anything and don't condone it, what we really need are awareness campaigns about contraception methods, the morning after pill, and adoption. Meanwhile, woman deserve to have a place were they could go ahead with the procedure while not putting in risks their lives. I wish it didn't exist, because I'm of the opinion that if you did a mistake you have to suck it up (and I'm not talking about rape or medical problems at all, that's another case and it's legal already), but that's just wishful thinking and this is a very much real issue.

And about gay marriage, there was this girl sitting behind me that kept on saying how disgusting it was and how 'unnatural' and pretty much the entire classroom wanted to throttle her. Ah, the joys of going to a liberal school. :)

Zoé IN SEVEN HOURS, OMG!!! I'll be meeting the others at the festival at around 5:30, and see how many bands we can see before Zoé starts playing, yay. I'm so excited about it! I'll try and take lots of pictures. *g*

Yeah, I think you could really tell that they weren't sure if they were absolutely coming back for another season, and I think that's why they chose to kill off the demon now. But yeah, so many new storyline potentials for season 3!

How did Mary knew the YED? What about the other generations of Psykids?

I have a feeling that these two questions could be tied together into one. I'm already speculating that Mary had a relative or knew somebody that might have been in one of the YED's previous generations. Which, you know, would be awesome!

the idea of a ticking clock - it'll make everything seem so urgent, so desperate

That's an awesome way of putting it! I'm really looking forward to it, since, like you said, it'll be about how Sam is going to save Dean from going to hell. But on top of all that, I'm thinking that they're going to expand the whole running from the law thing, so it'll be interesting how they're going to be facing saving Dean from two things ... plus, you know, the whole hunting demons thing. LOL.

It's only been two days, and I already want the third season to be tomorrow! How am I going to survive the summer?!

I'm really glad that even with the cancellation axe hanging above their heads they still thought about leaving things unanswered for season three. :)

Oh man, Mary as one of the past generations would be INCREDIBLE.

How am I going to survive the summer?!

I HAVE NO IDEA. *whimpers* *misses her show already*

I came in for the squee, but I have to say how impressed I am by you school. In Tijuana I was always very much on the fringe for being freakishly liberal, when actually here in fandom I would say I'm more middle-of-the-road. I'm old enough to remember how when AIDS become a real issue for young people in Tijuana my girlfriends, in-the-process of being college educated people, where of the opinion that it was god's punishment :/ --- You can see how I fit in rather poorly in that crowd.

Anyway, YAY! You saw it!

I'm thinking Hendrickson is good for at least another couple of episodes, so there is one enemy to take the palce of the YED. Also, Gordon and other hunters coming after Sam. Oh yeah, it could get pretty bad. The scene with Sam shooting Jake was pretty violent. I was surprised and then I had the a-ha moment. Hope the storyline there lives up to the premise. Born Under a Bad Sign was not what I have been waiting in the Evil!Sammy thing. I want a slow progression, over maybe 5 episodes, where we see it slowly corrupting Sam, probably in an effort to save Dean.

**makes the dolphin noises**

Oh yeah, that would make me all kinds of happy.

BTW, I never been to Gudalajara in May. Everytime we ever visited family it was during X-Mas or Summer vacation. The rain during summer! It was amazing to someone from Tijuana, where we get so little rain and when we do got a couple of inches the City doesn't have the infrastructure to handle it.

Thing is, it's an art, design and arquitecture center (la udg esta regada por tooooda la ciudad), and well, stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason, and pretty much all of us have gay friends - it's hard to be prejudiced that way, in all honesty. I ♥ my school. Everyone's nice to each other, even if we're not as political as the Humanities center. Poor you, really, I can only imagine the frustration. *sigh*

I really, really, really want Hendrickson and Gordon to get together. Hendrickson's just a step away from figuring the truth, and Gordon could convince him the Winchesters are even more dangerous than he thinks. *g* Haha, yeah, BUaBS really cheated in that, but I'll forgive it because seeing Meg again was kinda awesome.

Oh, any chance you'll be coming soon? I loooove GDL in July/August/September, everything's so green and pretty and it's awesome to see rain every day. (and haha, we don't have the infrastructure for it either, every day after it rains the news will say which bridge and/or tunnel got flooded this time XDD Last year, a CAR suddenly appeared INSIDE a sewer. It was hilarious, but kinda worrying, lol.)

THANK YOU! I hate abortion fights. It's like, "Let's argue the fuck out of the symptom without EVER addressing the PROBLEM! GREAT IDEA!!!!"

That said, I'm speechless that they've banned it without exception in some states. I understand it's an innocent fetus/life and all, but really, banning like that just begs for killing people with back alleys and coat hangers *cries at the thought*

I know! It's a HUGE controversy in here because it's just been legalized in Mexico City, and everyone and their mothers have created an uproar about it. I was in the market about a month ago when a little van drove next to it with people saying over the speakers how all of the murderers were going to go to hell. *sigh* I'm usually anti-abortion, but I usually can't stand the people that actually campaign about it.

Ah, you clearly have a heart of stone! Or maybe your poor body had already sweat out all the moisture it had to spare, as the case may be.

Note to self: Don't visit Guadalajara during May. :)

Admittedly I was grin!crying at the end, but still.

YES! Plus the FBI are still after their asses, it's gonna be one giant cat and mouse race against time sort of thing! The tension will kill us!

Ugh, debates. I did a couple of years of religious studies and these topics were frequent causes for discussion. I'm pro-choice generally. (I'm not sure I condone it either, but I do strongly believe that every women should have the right to choose for herself, despite my own opinions on the matter.)

And I agree with you about campaigning for better awareness, easier access to alternative contraception, etc.

As for the gay marriage thing, I find it totally odd that there are still folk out there who think it's morally wrong some how. Then again, I read incest porn on the internet for FUN, so what the hell do I know about morals, eh? *g*

Anyway. Yay for liberal friends and classmates. *toasts* You have fun at that festival, try not to squee too hard, don't injure yourself now.

You'll be much better off visiting during August, when it rains everyday and everything's green and pretty. :)

Ah, but it's such a good tension, isn't it? Man, I just want it to start already. :)

Exactly - a girl said during the debate: "So what is it to you if it's legalized and you're against it? If you know you're not going to abort, then you're fine, and you don't get to choose for other people."

Then again, I read incest porn on the internet for FUN, so what the hell do I know about morals, eh? *g*

HAHA, I KNOW XD. You sometimes get so used at hanging around open-minded people that it comes as a shock to remember that no, people in general can be pretty rotten about it.

¡¡Ooooh!!
