In other news, after the hellish day that was yesterday, I've been incongruously happy today. My happy place, today?
- Singing to The Libertines at the top of my lungs during the entire drive to school and back home. Especially 'What Katie Did'. That song makes me all happy for some strange reason.
- Finally turning in my final Psychology of Perception II project today. It is OVER. I don't have to yell at anyone to do their part of their work anymore. (One guy didn't do ANYTHING, though. I was close to hitting him today.)
- Teh boyfriend getting jealous XD We were at a cyber cafe with some other friends, and I recognized the music that was on but couldn't place it, so I went to ask the guy in charge, Charlie (yes, the entire school knows him, he's about our age and pretty rad), and ended up discovering myself that it was part of Wong Kar Wai's In The Mood for Love Soundtrack. Anyway, Charlie came closer to me after a while and poked me in the belly (wtf? o_O) and started to talk to me about the movie and whatever. Now, teh boyfriend's not the most affectionate guy ever, but as soon as Charlie was out of sight? He pulled me to him and kept me pressed to him for a long time even if it was really to hot to be close and we ended up all sticky with sweat *g* Anyway, it was sweet. XD
- Being silly at flamenco class and finally starting the buleria.
Now, you might ask, why incongruously happy, then?
- my grandma did have her leg amputated on Sunday. I was outside the O.R. all afternoon, but they didn't get her out until 11, or something, and I had to leave before that, and I haven't had a chance to go see her yet. *sigh*
- A political aunt's sister died today. I wasn't that close to her, but I knew her, and I'm sad for my aunt and my cousins. It's just so heartbreaking, though - she had been fighting against cancer for the last five or so years. It scares me how many people I knew that died of cancer (one of them my dad's brother).

*hugs* for your grandmother and for your aunt's family. That's all so terribly sad. :( Tell your grandmother that now she can work on popping wheelies in the wheelchairs, 'kay? :) And as for you aunt... well, just... *more hugs*

Aw, thanks, hon. My grandma's a bit depressed, obviously, but I hope she'll be all right.

boyfriends getting jealous are really sweet ;) I used to make my ex boyfriend jealous just because he was very affectionate with me after seeing boys flirting with me ;)

Haha, yeah, it's kinda fun, although one feels a bit naughty, huh? XD
