OMG TAKE A LOOK AT MY LAYOUT ([livejournal.com profile] nekare!) IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND WONDERFUL AND I GOT IT FROM [livejournal.com profile] thefulcrum. I lurve it. My journal no longer looks like crap just only because I'm pants with computers. :)

First day of school... Was actually nice, go figure. It was soooo nice to get there and talk with friends and hang out, so very different than my actual first day last semester. My first peried teacher didn't show up until 8 something since no one had told her the class had been moved to 7 *eyeroll* and of course I woke up at 4 since I kept thinking I wouldn't hear the alarm. So in all, a good day, even if I'm practically in any class with the people I like the most *is le sad* (and it was misty next to the cliffs and you could see nothing but white after the precipice. Which was pretty.)

Then tragedy hit when my car didn't start at the end of the day. Why? Because I'd forgotten to turn my lights off at morning, and the battery like, died. *grieves* I called my insurance, and they said they'd be there from 60 to 90 minutes, so I just went and had some guys I barely know help me. It was real stressful, though, since I was like 'I just can't stop. Can't or I won't reach home. CAN'T.' but well, I'm home, the battery's recharged, and I just hope it won't happen again.

Still, first my poor mirror and then this - AM I JINXED, OR SOMETHING???

Empañar: Steam up, verb ('e' as in 'end', both 'a's as in 'and', ñ as in, uh, ñ Tonic syllable in 'ñar'). While the meaning is beautiful in both languages, I like it far better in Spanish, although that might have to do with the fact that phrasal verbs aren't exactly the prettiest things ever. The ñ, for some reason, makes me think of this word as something sprinkled, water-y, which fits with the meaning very well.

I didn't go to flamenco today, because I felt strangely tired. Um. And I wanted to ask one of my friends at class how her first day at medicine school had been... (Ugh, that keeps reminding me that that could've been me a year ago. Just a month before doing applications for Graphic Design, I still wanted to be a neurosurgeon.)

Watched the LOST 2nd season finale, and um, it was okay. Not as good as last season's finale, but the second series hasn't been as good as last one in any sense, so no big surprise there. But, well, it still made me gasp a little, and that's a good thing.

I also watched Ergo Proxy, episode 17, and I found it incredible. Many questions answered, many new questions asked. Raul is finally a flesh and blood character, the only one in the series that remained to be developed, and God, that final sequence, with the music and the light and Raul's sheer fuckedness, wow. So, so good. Oh plot, how I love thee.

Twelve hours of school tomorrow, curse it all. 7 to 7, and only 2 free hours at 1. HOW AM I GOING TO SURVIVE?

Dude, how long have I been reading Bleach? Almost two years? I only did notice that the Arrancar is, in fact, named after the Spanish word for 'rip apart'. Yeah. *headdesk* How utterly embarassing. And it shouldn't even be surprising, considering how México obssessed Kubo Tite is.
