SPN tonight, YAY!! So excited, guys. And meanwhile, here, some Bones fic to tide us all over until we get the uber cute episode of cute on Monday! YAY AGAIN. This isn't really the fic I set out to write (I was going for short and artsy), but in the end I think it suits the show better. So, this might be the start of a wonderful career in Bones fic writing? Not sure, but let's hope so. :D

Title: Lines (Make Me Want to Cross Them)
Word Count: 4375
Pairing: Booth/Brennan
Summary: When it happens, like it was supposed to because there has always been a certain degree of inevitability with them, it happens like this.
Author Notes: Betaed by [livejournal.com profile] sasha_davidovna, slight spoilers for 3x09 - Santa in the Slush.

When she was still in school, long before the Jeffersonian and Booth and trips around the world in search of corpses that wouldn’t abandon her like the living did, she couldn’t touch anyone without thinking of the bones beneath their skin. )

Imagine this.

The sun is a painfully bright burn orange, a perfect circle in the middle of the sky. The only cloud in the entire skyline is right in front of it, and it is colored red - not blood red, but the color of a traffic light. It looks like a nebula, moving and shifting lightly and fading at the edges. The sky is still an incredibly pale powder blue, and the contrast is just stunning.
I had never seen such a startling sunset, I swear. It only lasted a couple of minutes, but oh, was it beautiful. ♥

Yesterday was a sad day indeed, for my mechanical pencil died. Bye, bye, miss mechanical pen~~ )[/drawing material angst]

In much different news, there was fic today, Booth/Brennan fic from Bones, yay.

Guys, guys, I'm really curious: what do I sound like in this journal, British or from the US? Or do I just have foreigner stamped on my forehead?

I was just wondering. My two most influencial teachers were from the US - so I'm guessing either that or LOL FOREIGNER, haha. well, there was another one with a British/Australian accent since he spent a lot of time overseas, but he had a strange quality to his voice that made you fall asleep as soon as he started talking. True story. So he doesn't count.
