I went out with some friends to a little cafe yesterday, and it was all right, not anything resembling an interrogation, thank goodness. IN NOT SO GOOD NEWS, THOUGH, Ugh, I just found out I have two classes this semester with my ex. One of them being Design, the one that we have, you know, TEN HOURS A WEEK OF. Oh man. It's gonna be so awkward. ;___;
After reading what's arguably one of the best comics in the last five years, what do I read next? SHOUJO MANGA. ARGH, WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME. So yep, I read all of the scanlated part of Kimi Wa Petto. It's not all that good, and it's pretty silly, but it's pretty entertaining and catchy. It's about this successful woman that's tired of people not liking her because she's so successful and that 'adopts' as a pet a 20-year-old guy that she finds living in a box. And, obviously, they fall in love. Or something. I didn't want to read it at first because I thought it'd be somewhat... demeaning, but it isn't, not really, because said 'pet' is actually pretty enthusiastic about it. Anyway, I'm crusing now to see the dorama because I want to know once and for all why half of my flist is swooning over Matsumoto Jin. *shrug*
Anyway, Comictlán, the biggest comic con in Guadalajara started yesterday, and I'll be going in a while. Weirdly enough, I feel like going by myself this year, because I honestly just want to shop around for a while, the panels don't look all that promising this year. I doubt I'll be getting any manga or anime, but I really want to see if I can find the latest volumes of Fables, and I really want to start collecting Ex Machina and Y: The Last Man - I love them too much to only have them in the computer. SO, I'LL BE POOR TONIGHT, WOE IS ME.

oh dear
One of my fave manga, Petshop of Horrors, involves people buying pets that sometimes appear to them as humans. A super-concise synopsis: Tales of the Crypt-style morality tales, except with a much prettier, quirkier Cryptkeeper.
cons! I've been to the tiny con in my town and the giant Comic Con in San Diego.
Klaxons! Have you seen the video with the spurting slime? haaa creepy

Indeed. Boo.
Mmm, I once tried to watch one episode of PoH manga (the one with the RABBITS, OMG) and it creeped the hell out of me. o_O Cool, but not my cup of tea.
Someday, I SOOO want to go to Comic Con, it sounds so incredibly. *sigh*
Haha, yeah, it totally weirded me out XD My favorite 'WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING??' one of them is the one for Golden Skans, though, because the ribbons and whatnot remind me of Sailor Moon and when the girls changed outfits, lol. XD

It's incredibly exhausting but incredibly fun. We drove down with some family friends (7 in a van!) and only went one day, but that was still enough
need moreooh I should watch that one.
