nekare: (colorful Doctor)

I have this incredibly large assignment for Design III class and I can already tell it'll HURT MY SOUL. Ugh. It's not even fun stuff, it's just reading (a hundred pages, ugh) and highlighting and TYPING those highlited bits which will probably be about 25 pages. UGH UGH UGH. AND find a related article and write lots and lots of conclusions and REALLY, but I thought I'd left this kind of homework behind in high school. *headdesk*

Heroes tomorrow! I have my first class tomorrow at 8am, so I won't be able to download until I get home from school at, er, 8pm. *cries* I hate Tuesdays. BUT. HEROES. YES. SARK. AND, YOU KNOW, A BUNCH OF OTHER PEOPLE, LOL.

And now, YET MORE WHO RECS JUST BECAUSE.

Hitchcock Bottle Blonde by [livejournal.com profile] lizbee, Ten/Rose(-ish), Romana, PG-13. The Doctor is still thinking about Rose. So is the TARDIS. And Romana has had it with it. Oh man, but this was hilarious. Seriously, it made me laugh and laugh and I love this Romana and Rose is actually pretty awesome in it (in all seriousness) and the Doctor is, as always, Quite Messed Up but wonderful anyway.

Three Months, Subjective Time by [livejournal.com profile] versaphile, Ten gen. The Doctor didn't go back for Martha right away. He needed some time to think, first. Actually, make this a blanket rec for this author. I haven't read her newest Ten/Master because I tend to shy away from MPreg, but her gen and other fic is just brilliant. This author just gets Ten, in a way I've seldom seen before.

The Frozen Hours by [livejournal.com profile] ressie_noldo. Martha gen. Martha, seeing the world. (Or universe, rather.) Martha's travels while she's with the Doctor, told in a wacky and lyrical and absolutely gorgeous way.

A Place Called Home by [livejournal.com profile] sheldrake, Martha gen. Martha in 1913, holding it together. Ah, just beautiful.

Sometimes Bodies by [livejournal.com profile] significantowl, Ten/Martha, R. Ah, I love fics in which there's TARDIS exploring. Apart from that, and from the fact that it's really, really hot, this fic has a wonderful portrayal of this ship.

What does this rec list tells me? THAT I NEED TO READ MORE DOCTOR/MASTER, YES. Then again, I do love me a Martha, so I've been quite happy reading all this stuff, oh yes.

I've got three of Seven'n'Ace's serials in my hard drive. I am a happy fangirl. *goes away to watch Dragonfire*
