Well, I finally got to see episode 4 of Torchwood, Meat. Ah, Torchwood. So incompetent. RHYS WAS THE BEST THING ABOUT IT. (and probably the only good thing about it...) But there weren't enough lulz. I don't like it when they try to make the show so zomg ~serious~ because it just never works. LESS ANGSTY SHOTS AT JACK, MORE LULZ, OKAY WRITERS?

LOL LOL LOL THE ALIEN!MANATI LOOKS LIKE LAME PUPPET XDDD I actually was sort of sad for it, though, so. That was okay.

And YAYZ Ianto was finally kickass! After a season and some of being as bland as wet bread!

AND AGAIN, LOL THE CGI WAS SO DAMN BAD!

I'll keep on saying, Rhys was the best part of the episode, and I'm glad Gwen finally grew a pair and realized he IS important to her and she'll treat him better AND not retcon it. That was good. The Gwen/Jack part of that scene, though, made me all kinds of queasy because for some reason John Barrowman creeps me out a bit when he's trying to be SRS BSNS. Ick.

Rhys was awesome, Gwen wasn't an idiot, and Ianto kicked ass? I think you've just helped me find the fannish glee to actually watch this episode. Thanks!

IANTO WAS SO HOT. The only reason I am sticking with my Owen icon is because I am trying to distance myself from the hoards of screaming fangirls who cheer his one-liners a little to much. Oh, who am I kidding? I AM JUST AS FICKLE AS THE REST OF THEM.

Also THE CGI WAS APPALING. Notice how all of the best episodes feature little to no CG. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.

Rhys is indeed wonderful, specially when being (literally) in your face!homoerotic with Jack. XD Best line of the episode - although Ianto's dry dry "we could release a single" gets a much deserved second place.

God, yeah, it's like they haven't heard of a thing called SUBLETY. Sluggy the alien manati would've looked better if it'd been made with fucking mache paper, for goodness' sake.

Haha, I just hope Rhys will teach them how to become decent human beings, haha XD ACTUALLY, NOW I WANT MARTHA/RHYS. Because they're both awesome and they would be awesome together and they're too good for the rest of the crew anyway XD

Okay, so like, half my flist is talking about Skins. I have never heard of it. What is it?

It's this quite fantastic british show about teenagers in Bristol and they're 'real' lives. It's actually quite over the top, so they're all really really messed up, but it's quite lovely, and you end up getting awfully invested in the characters - a sexual predator/sociopath, a girl with low self-steem, a boy abandoned by her mother, a bulimic/slightly insane girl and so on. Do check it out, it's got some of the best photography I've ever seen on tv.
