My Design teacher is so WEIRD. Like, she has a reputation of being Editorial Design's SUPREME NAZI or something and yet she's letting us all down this semester with endless 'what the fuck'-ery moments. Also, she's pregnant, and she must be like, hormonal, or something, because she keeps on smiling all creepy-like. Uh.

Anyway. As y'all know, I watched Scoop today, mostly because I wanted it the hell out of my hard drive and oh God. Disappointment much? I mean, it's not nearly as OMG AWFUL as every single critic under the sun made it out to be, but it's not good either and the only parts that save it are Scarlett Johanson finally playing something different than 'hot seductress' and Hugh Jackman being utterly fantastic with this smoking hot posh British accent, uuuugh. Mmm, so good. (but then again, I dig him so hard as an actor, so). But like I said. WOODY ALLEN IS SO FUCKING ANNOYING AS AN ACTOR.

My dad has a hard-on for all of his movies and when he made me sit through it I just had to stop watching Manhattan, I hated it that much. I gave this one a chance because I loved Match Point to pieces, seriously, but agh. And the worst part? I'll probably see his new movie because DUDE, Javier Bardem/Penélope Cruz/Scarlett Johansson OMG THE HOTNESS.

And then The Departed was on tv and I think I liked it even more in a second watching. I still think that best picture award was just a nod to Scorcese, but it was still a damn fine movie, bloodbath of an ending notwithstanding.

You pathetic imbecile. Woody Allen is a legend. How could an obviously intelligent man such as your father have sired a retard like you? Unless...hmmm...

I agree with you, Woody Allen is a bit annoying as an actor. Especially now that he's old.

I'm actually not looking forward to the Javier/Penelope/ScarJo threesome. Just the idea of creepy Woody filming the whole thing gives me goose pimples and not in a good way.

Man, I loved the Departed. Have you see the original version, Infernal Affairs? That is a fine film.

Okay, I admit it, that made me laugh out loud XDD Now when I do see it I'll snigger and say OMG THAT CREEPY OLD MAN WAS WAAAATCHING. XD

Mmm, it was, what, Korean, or something? (or that was just a series based on it?) I might have to look for it...

I'm surprised no else thought of that, I mean come on it's just creepy, and I must admit hilarious. I can even imagine his glasses fogging up, haha.

I believe that it was Chinese. Do look for it, because it's a good film, even though obviously if you watch the Departed you see what Scorcese improved on.
